Great tech-free activity
Great product! High-quality paper and instructions are easy enough for my 9 year old to follow. Great activity for a tech-free afternoon. We built them and then had competitions on which one could fly the furthest. Fun!

Look to the skies!
Bought these kits in bulk for a school vacation activity at my workplace. Their price made this an affordable option, and, with the bonus foldable baby dragon flyers included, we were able to serve over fifty kids, ages 3- 12, for a mere $36. That alone is worth a good rating. But the play value of the flyers , and the storylines behind each sort of dragon, were what made it a hit with our dragon- obsessed young clientele. While the punch-out paper components were rather delicate, and could not withstand a lot of yanking, the instructions were somewhat confusing for the more complex models,and beyond some of the younger kids ( whose parents brought them despite the 8+ recommendation), it was a good STEM activity, and it is a good lesson in test flight , recalibration and adjustment...all in all, a great success!

My 6 and 11 year old enjoyed these.
These were super cool! The book gives you a short story about each type of dragon. You get step by step instructions on how to make them. My only complaint is, the tape would not stick. We used regular scotch tape and it did the trick.

Crafty Flying Paper Dragons
My 8yr old loves making paper airplanes so i thought this would be a nice twist for him, he loved it and it was very easy for him to read and folow the instructions with very little help, the hatchling are made from regular paper while the bigger dragons are made from a cardstock material, it comes with small pieces of tape but they did not work for us i ended up using scotch tape.

Absolutely awesome
My grandsons LOVE this book of dragons. They set to them instantly, having fun all day long, putting them together and watching them fly. The art is incredible, and the lore and info in the books puts it in a special class! Excellent value, highly recommend. I'll be looking for other model-books from Klutz - very impressed!!

Fantastic buy for 10yo
Bought this as part of a “car activity kit” I was putting together for my 10yo son for a long road trip. I wondered if it would be a little too “young” for him but he looooooved it. Excellent quality, beautiful colors and art on the double-sided dragons, so many options for customizing them. He even shared a couple with his little sister, who then asked for a set of her own! Really, I was amazed at how into it he was. Storage compartment is handy, too, so they didn’t wind up all over the place. I think there are three varieties of these, and we’ve bought two so far—I hope they make more!

Fun and educational
This was a gift for 7 year old boy that loves dinosaurs. His eyes lighted up when he got it. However he did need some adult help to do his first flying dragon and is looking forward to creating more. He thougth the story part was "GREAT". His friends also like the dragons and they wanted to help since they had never seen these before.

A really big hit!
In a very long Santa list, this item was almost an afterthought. It was greeted with surprise and delight on Christmas day, and my son spent hours making and then playing with the dragons. He is nine years old, and managed totally unaided (but then he does know a lot about dragons!!). I now find the dragons every where.... they live in my Christmas wreath ("the perfect nest for dragons), are perched on top of wardrobes, and have even been found in the fridge. This is a lovely quality book and well worth getting for a young dragon enthusiast.
