Awesome Instrument Introduction
Very Cute - very pleased with this! My kid is a bit young for using these - he's ~1.5yrs, and this is tagged for +3. I think that's a very age appropriate description, but for our younger lad, he enjoys them with supervision, despite not fully grasping their application. The main reason I love these is the introduction of musical instruments to children - I think that if you can make that intro as young as possible, that's fantastic. Kids should be learning a wide array of noise making devices (music and otherwise), and this kit comes with many decently made instruments of different types, for a very reasonable price. The colors are vibrant, which captures his attention, despite the disconnect in purpose (again, he's a tad young). His favorite right now is the clapper, which even at his age he can run around make the clap noise very cleanly, even at his age/level. Likewise, the maracas, but he needs a lot of monitoring with those, because he can shove it in his mouth (he has a large mouth...) so just be aware that if your kid is under a certain age/maturity, you will absolutely need to monitor for safety. You could say that they should have made things larger sizes, but again, it's no really meant for unsupervised play - it's for fun and learning. Just be aware that you won't be throwing these in a crib with the kiddo. Tone of the xylophone and wind instruments is decent; not "finely tuned", but these aren't Yamahas... ok.. my kid stepped on the thing 5 minutes in. The point is that the quality is good enough to get decent sounds, not excessively loud, but loud enough to be fun without being a parental headache, and solid enough to put up with the abuse of a child and keep on working - to that point, after days of play, we have not managed to noticeably damage anything. Very pleased.

Not so exciting for some kids
It’s a nice musical ensemble and well-made that’s why I still gave it 4 stars. It’s also a good test to find out whether your child is musically inclined or not. The child we gave it to didn’t know what to do with it until we showed him how to use it. He likes the xylophone, but it didn’t hold his attention for much longer. The other instruments confused him. He’s 3 years old, so an older kid might find it more exciting to play. I will not pay the asking price of this toy. My opinion may have been different if the reaction I saw was more intense leading to a child’s sensory meltdown and/or just a show of some excitability. It’s common knowledge that each child is different. Some may have disabilities we’re not aware of affecting their play reactions that manifest sensory issues.

Adorable, High-Quality, and So Much Fun for Toddlers!
I am really impressed with this wooden musical instrument set — it’s even better than I expected! The first thing I noticed is the quality of the craftsmanship.
