Das Motiv ist zu dunkel
"The Lady of Shalott" ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsgemälde. Ich habe es auch schon im Original in der Tate-Gallery gesehen und ich habe mich total gefreut, es nun auch als Puzzle zu bekommen. Aber leider ist mir der Spaß am Puzzlen sehr schnell vergangen. Das Bild ist nämlich viel zu dunkel. Es ist nicht so hell wie auf der Verpackung. Da sucht man sich tot, vor allem bei künstlichem Licht. Dazu kommt, daß die Puzzleteile nicht sehr präzise ausgearbeitet sind und durchaus an mehrere Stellen passen könnten. Das ist fatal, wenn man Berge von vermeintlich einfarbig schwarzen Teilen hat. Nein, die Qualität läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Von dieser Firma kaufe ich nie wieder ein Puzzle.

Frustrating jigsaw
This is one of the worst jigsaws I have ever bought. There are so many pieces that seem to fit perfectly to two adjoining pieces not just by cut but by colour also but turn out to be wrong in two or three locations. In the end I gave up having redone several areas several times. I somewhat cruelly gave it to a charity shop for someone else to share my frustrating experience. I have not bought jigsaws from this maker before so cannot say whether this is an issue with just this particular scene or is a problem across their whole range.
