Great craft kids will use
Great kit for a craft kids will enjoy and use. These are easy to put together and will tap into the creativity of the children using them. I picked them up for my granddaughter and we will put them together tomorrow when she comes over for a sleepover. I love that the kit comes with everything you need and requires little or no supervision. I plan to sit with her while she puts these together and will help if needed, she is 8 1/2 and loves to do crafts so this is a great gift for her. Definitely something you could give as a gift or even a stocking stuffer.

A fun project for kids
This set arrives in a colorful box that will appeal to your 6 to 9 year old. My granddaughters are going to love putting these keychains together. This is exactly the type of activity that they love to do. All the necessary parts are included in the set. I would say that the durability and sturdiness of the pieces is about right for the price, perhaps a tiny bit overpriced. That being said, this set will be a great project that my granddaughters are going to love to put together!

A parent and child activity, not for solo creativity
The Kids Backpack Keychain kit has a lot of potential but it has some shortcomings. First, two keychains can be made with this kit BUT the threads that come with this set are all very long. This is not necessarily a bad thing since you will need to tie knots but I found that my daughters attempted to fill each line with beads which burned through the beads fast and lead to arguments of fairness. Keep that mind when your kids are building, you need to establish the max number of beads per thread. Second, the threads are frayed at the end making it impossible to slide beads onto the threads. This is why a threading tool is included with the kit. This works BUT my daughters just couldn’t pull the threads through the beads with this tool, they needed me to pull each and every bead. It isn’t that difficult but I understand why they found it challenging. Lastly, I’m not really confident in the results. I’m really sure this is going to lose a lot of beads as the system is to just tie a knot and not everyone is good at tying an adequate knot so the beads don’t fall off. The beads themselves look nice but the effort isn’t all the fun since the parent needs to do the labor. The price isn’t bad for the value.

Fun, Cute and Entertaining!
I got these creativity kit for my daughter and niece and they both love it! They really enjoyed putting together her own keychains, the beads and charms are adorable, and the instructions were super easy to follow. The kit comes with everything needed, and the end result looks so cute on their backpacks! It’s great for playdates or even as a small gift or travel activity since the kit is so affordable. The materials are also good quality and hold up well.

Good quick set for kids to make their own key chains
Arrives in the box shown. 'What you see on the box is pretty much what you can make, just rearrange the beads. The colors and variety pieces are also included. So pretty much what you see is what you get. 6+ years old is about the right age or if you have a child who can handle putting string through small holes. So age range would be 6 and up. Will be fun for a small amount of time. The string is plenty durable to hold the pieces together and hanging off a backpack. Functionally works well just need to know how to tie knots and put the string through the beads. As a gift, it's a good value. For just randomly building, not that good.

Review of Creativity for Kids Backpack Keychains Mini Kit | Make 2 Trendy Keychains with Beads & Charms | DIY Craft Kit for Kids to Build Motor Skills & Creativity | Great for Travel, Parties & Gifts (Ages 6+). My daughters love making bracelets, necklaces, etc., so I knew they would enjoy this activity. The kit technically comes with everything needed, though my daughters decided to supplement the rather skimpy beading supplies with some of their own to make their projects more impressive. The kit makes cute keychains that they have hung on their backpacks, but I have my doubts that they will be around for long (kids are destructive, after all). The quality is pretty good and the keychains that are made are of a nice size (making for good zipper pulls), but I don't think the value for the money spent is all that great. At time of writing, the kit costs $9, which seems high to me.

Tons of fun and easy to make
Perfect and fun activity to make with a tween or if you’re someone like me who just loves cute stuff. Got these to make with my niece and earned me tons of cool points. I kept one for myself because i too love cutsie crafts. Box came with everything you need for a fun little activity.

What's nice about this set is that is good for 2 kids to work on at the same time -- on their own keychain that they can then attach to their backpacks. The beads are very colorful and provides a simple project that also can express creativity. These are pretty basic pieces, and I don't think the keychains would be good for holding keys, as they may not be sturdy enough for that.
