4-year-old can do the fox/bunny!
I bought the fox, the bunny, and the learn-to-sew kit. And I give them all 5 stars. They are great kits. I bought the learn-to-sew kit for my 8-year-old (who already knows how to use a sewing machine because of an after-school club, but doesn't have any real experience with hand-sewing). It's a really nice kit with reusable patterns and a booklet with instruction for extra projects beyond the materials included in the set. i.e. it's not a set that you would use up. The book and the patterns will always be useful. But on to the part of this review that I hope will be most helpful .... specifically whether you can push the limits on the age range (which is one of the biggest reasons I tend to read toy reviews ... ). Well, I got the fox and bunny kits for my 4-year-1-month old daughter. I had to help with the accessories, but she was able to do the primary sewing. The kit uses a blunt plastic needle with pre-punched holes in the felt. It wasn't much harder than those sewing cards that are a common preschool toy. She is very proud that she made her own stuffie. She really did do the stitching with hardly any help. The finished product is so adorable that I'd think that she could make something like this as a gift for grandma. It's got that sort of "darling" appeal to it that could totally fit in on a shelf full of grownup kitch/decor.

Very cute kit!
My 9 year old daughter LOVED this kit! Easy, but not too easy. Enough decorations to make it exciting and engaging. I would recommend for any little girl that likes crafts and unicorns!

Great toy for a little girl
I highly recommend this as a gift for a little girl. My the 5 year old and I had so much fun making the fox and putting her clothes together. I love that it comes with different clothing so the child can play with it and change outfits rather than just make it and forget about it. Will definitely be gifting this in the future

Unique gift idea!
My girls love crafts so I was excited to find these! They are such a cute idea, best of both worlds: a craft and a stuffy/doll. I did give it 4 stars though because it wasn’t “easy” for my 5 year old. It still requires a lot of parent help, which is fine but she prefers things she can do on her own. Very reasonable price for the item you get.

Adorable!
I'm so impressed at the thoughtfulness of this craft!! This is a beginner level, perfect for my 6 yr old's attention span, the only sewing is to attach the front of the fox to the back in order to stuff. I was worried it might be too easy, but it was great, the instructions are clear, the holes all line up, there is plenty/extra yarn. The accessories and clothing is too cute and perfect for little girls, the details and variety are awesome for a beginner sewing craft. The only part that she needed extra help with was the tiny little backpack to hold the baby fox. If you think about the time it would take to design and cut out all of these pieces, it's definitely fairly priced, I hope they come out with more animals because we want to make another!!

Adorable craft project to do with grandchild
Very cute animal toy. 8 yo granddaughter loved making it. Needed a little adult help making the backpack. Rated 5 years +, but I don't think most 5 year old would be able to make this without adult help.
