Fun for crafty kids
My 12 yo kid loves doing crafts of any kind, and this bracelet making kit was right up her alley. She was able to go through the instructions on her own and use the kit to make personalized bracelets for her friends without my help. She especially enjoyed using knick knacks and remnants from her old school projects to create a kind of memento for the school year.

Makes A Great Gift
If your kids get invited to as many birthday parties as mine do, I like to keep a small pile of potential gifts for girls and boys at the ready. This is one of my top gifts to give to my daughter's friends and it's always a hit. First off, you get a lot for the money. Second, the packaging is great, so it looks like a good toy / craft item. Finally, the final product is actually really nice and fun to make. I definitely recommend it. It's a lot of fun, and it won't break the bank.

Great Idea, Not a Great Product
Could not get it to work adequately. Had hoped to punch out think plastic discs, but the discs would get stuck, and I couldn't get them out without tearing them. Paper would get stuck as well, and could not find an easy way to get them out either, and would also tear. When it would cut neatly, the discs never when into the awaiting space below. And really, even if I could have gathered them, the discs were so fragile, I don't think they would hold up as jewelry. Great idea; wish it had worked. Very disappointed. Just wish I had acted faster and returned the item!

Overpriced
For the price this should be higher quality. Its not meant for kids under 10 to do alone. Its a bit tricky but I feel if the products were a higher quality it would be easier to use. Overall not a great value.

Lots of little pieces
Fun craft kit for our younger relatives. We stock up on these for babysitting relatives. When the kids get bored we can pull a kit out and have fun. It keeps them happy for quite some time. Even kids that I didn't think would be interested actually wanted to join in. Lots of tiny pieces with this so we had to be careful of the little ones.

great ideas
this kit is a good gift for my 8 year old daughter. It was easy to use and she had fun playing with it. She used thin decorated cardboard and it looks good in the end. The fun is endless as she could use many other recycling item for the kit.

3.5 Stars. Good idea but need more instructions.
This box is not that small. So I thought it would come with more beads or strings. It's quite underwhelming and misleading with that much empty space in the box ! Also that is a waste of material right there, ironically. I even lifted up the plastic tray to see if there was another layer underneath but no, that's it. Also while i like the idea of using recycled material to make beads, there is no detailed instructions of how we do it. Product needs some improvement. But i will give it to my 8 year old daughter for Christmas as she likes jewelry. Hope she can still make something...
