These earring backings are exactly what I was looking for. I love wearing earrings and I don't feel right if I'm not wearing them every day. I have a number of pairs with the fishhook back, several of which were gifts from my husband for special occasions, so I'd hate to lose them. Sadly, I have a collection of single earrings in my drawer, hoping that some day I'll find the earring that fell out. But, these earring backings prevent the need to worry about an earring falling out. In the past, I've purchased earring backings that did not fit tightly enough on the earring, thus defeating the purpose of wearing earring backings. I am pleased to say that the earring backings fit quite snugly on the backs of my earrings. If anything, they are slightly too tight for a couple pairs I own; however, I'd rather have them extra tight and not risk losing an earring. They are a little more expensive then some other products available on Amazon, but if you value your jewelry highly, I believe it's worth spending a few dollars to hold onto them.

How many of these have you lost?!
I like wearing the French hook earrings, but with long hair sometimes the hook works it's way out and the earring falls off. These little rubber backs are so tiny that they're easy to lose, so it's nice to have a bag of spares. Makes me feel safer wearing my nicer earrings.

These are fantastic!
I adore thise tube earring stoppers. Yes., the tubes are small. Photo makes them appear larger. I have three graduated diamond studs in one ear & 2 in the other. Before trying them on, I did a trial test on each & every earring I own. These backs fit all of my earrings. I only wear posts. Of all the earrings I own, only one pair didn't fit. So I took a large T style pin & poked it all the way thru on both tube backs. The large pin (similar to a hat pin) opened the hole just large enuf for them to fit that pair. Might be something others might try before pitching. They're comfortable, very secure & non-obtrusive..

So small
I can't math measurements! I think these would work if I didn't have to us my giant banana fingers (which I thought my fingers were normal up until this point in my life - obviously not)......they are sooooooooo small. I drop them and lose them and they are hard to put on the earrings and I would have sent back but it just wasn't worth it. So fair warning.....miniscule, tiny, infinitesimal, weeee.....

the hole was too small for any of my earrings ...
the hole was too small for any of my earrings to fit thru. Maybe if they made a larger size
