My Son is five and is the same size as most of his classmates. I would say he is average size and also wears a size 5 in his normal clothing. I ordered the size large toddler for this costume and it fit my Son perfectly. I love the head piece for this costume. Well made and set him apart from all the other optimus primes with a plastic mask. My son loved his costume and was a big hit in the neighborhood.

Great fit
This was a good fit but the original mask was not so great so I got the hard plastic mask looked amazing but he didn’t like that it was cold

Medium is a bit small on a 3T
The medium is more of a 2T than 3T. My 3 year old is a solid 3T and while he CAN wear this, he has to wear it without pants and it is very very tight and goes right up his behind. The back just barely closes. He LOVES it, though, and wants to wear it every day. It's an adorable costume.

Great and surprisingly durrable
This was for my 3 year-old boy and he can hammer a costume. This one is actually quite durable. The mask has problems staying on his head it almost seems too small but you can flip the eye holes up and its just a hat, nice feature

My 3yo LOVES it
My 3.5 yo is a little smaller than other kids his age. The size 3/4 fits well, just a little long. He has a big head for his age. So the helmet/hat doesn’t fit comfortably. He loves the costume anyway. Material is thin & cheap; pretty much what you expect from a costume in a bag. Will definitely need to wear pants and long sleeves underneath if weather is cold. Target is selling the same costume for nearly $20 more. Definitely not good value for the money, but haven’t found any costumes that are.

Wonderful suit!
My child loves this! He wears it often, easy to wash and put on. The hat can be worn with the eye piece above wher the forehead lies. Very happy with the price and the quality. Size is to scale as well! My 3yr old fits it quite well and can use it for some time too.

Held up well, would buy again
Exactly what I was looking for. Despite feeling quite filmsy, it had held up really well to almost daily play. The headpiece is well made. We will use it until he outgrows it, and then buy the next size. Highly recommend if your kiddo is Optimus Prime crazy like mine!

Unclear sizing
Costume itself was just as pictured. I went off the suggested sizing and ordered a medium expecting to get the size 4-6T. Costume showed up and was size 3-4T which was very tight on my 4 year old, returning for the size large so son can wear some warmer clothes underneath for trick or treating.
