My 5-year-old wore this for Halloween and was nice and cozy without being too hot. He didn't keep the head on all the time, but when he did, it was awesome and hilarious. More importantly, my teenager wore just the head of this during distance learning for one of her school's spirit days for "Favorite Commercial Character." When they would ask who she was, she would slowly raise up a printed sign into the webcam view that had the Geico gecko saying "Did you know that I can save you 15% on your car insurance?" She won funniest costume by far. Everyone loved it, even though it's not actually the Geico Gecko, it was so goofy looking and close enough that it passed for it perfectly. Got way more use out of this costume than planned! Love it.

Cute costume!
I love this costume! I bought it last minute for my 3 year old who just had to go as a "Flying Dinosaur"...Thank you Amazon and the makers of this costume! I ordered the size 3T and it fit excellent with a bit of room to grow which was perfect since here in Ohio a few layers of clothes are need under costumes to stay warm! The head piece fit him nicely and we didn't have any issues with it falling off or anything like that. The costume arrived quickly and just it in time for Halloween! The quality was excellent and I had no issue with my crazy 3 year old tearing or breaking it...which is unusual. The head piece isn't attached to the costume so there is a gap between the body and the head which is sort of annoying. A green turtleneck would have worked well but I didn't have one on hand so I improvised a bit and used a scarf. He got a lot of compliments on his costume and had a great time twirling around with his wings. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great costume, well made, runs a little small.
My 6-year-old loved this costume, and it was cute and well-made. A bit small for a 6-year-old, but we figured that going in. He’s not a big kid— 30th percentile for his age— and it was too short for him in the arms and particularly in the legs. Up above his socks. He’s a normal weight for his height, and it fit just fine that way— length was the issue. I think it would be 5 stars for comfort for a smaller child— the only reason I gave it a 4 was the Velcro under the chin was scratchy, likely because it was too small for him and probably didn’t close all the way. But he loved it, and it seems like a good quality costume. :)

Cute costume! size L 4-6
Its a pretty good costume, cute, soft and comfy! My son weighs 45 pounds and wears size 4/5t clothes, the costume size L 4-6 fits just right. He wore it for most of the day today and just loved it! No problems with the head staying up at all. The neck is a little wide (is not attached to the head piece) but a green turtle neck shirt underneath will help fill in the gap. Happy with the purchase :)

Superior product
This was a perfect fit for my nearly five-year-old son. It is based on a character from the TV series "Dinosaur Train", which he likes very much, so it is more cartoonish than realistic and perfectly appropriate for the age. It is made of sturdy felt, so it differs pretty substantially in quality from most Halloween costumes that are made of plastic. And since it is cloth and has a snugly fitting head piece that covers the ears and attached gloves over the hands, it is a nice, warm costume for a chilly Halloween evening. The head piece may cause your child's scalp to perspire and feel itchy after a couple of hours but my son was very happy to wear it as long as I would allow and received many admiring comments. All in all, this is probably the best costume I have ever purchased for one of my four children over the course of way too many Halloweens.

This costume is great!!! I give it 5 stars +++ I purchased a 4-6 for my 4T wearing 3 year old (38 inches tall) he probably could have fit into a size smaller but this is perfect because we have room to put clothes on underneath if needed. The costume is thick and warm fleece. It seems very well made. I don't think it mentioned it in the content but it IS the Dinosaur Train character Tiny, the package shows the branding if that is important to your child. The only con is the neck is NOT as pictured, it is as other reviews mentioned.... a large neck hole (almost boat neck) and my son will have to wear a turtle neck shirt or scarf Halloween night... in spite of that I am 110% happy and thrilled with the purchase. It's adorable and comfy! Of course he is already wearing it around the house and playing in it weeks before Halloween. I have a feeling it will be a regular in the dress up closet after October 31st!

They sent a used costume, yuck!
Omg, how can they send a used, returned product when I paid for a new one. I’m angry that they’d do this. Value is horrible since it’s used. Weight is super thin, not warm on a cold night of truck or treats The size seems accurate for my 3 year old cutie. He loves it, I can’t take it off of him. The head falls off and needs a pin or something to keep it from falling in his face. The tail is adorable and it would make a great costume if it were new.

Well made kids costume
Bought this for my 2 yr old grandson. < he picked it out> Arrived quickly. He wears a 2T and this was a little big as expected but still fit. The head fit well, just make sure to adjust the under the chin velcro so it doesnt scratch. I expect this to probably fit him for a good 2 yrs. Fabric is thick, making this a good cold weather costume. I would highly recommend this product. Great price for a great product!

Purchased for my nearly 5 year old to wear for book week. Quality was great for a costume, I will be able to reuse for my other child and hand it on. I got a size large and it just fits, probably a bit short in the body. My son is a size 5 in Australian kids clothes, but is almost a size 6. I don't think it would fit a child who was comfortably a size 6.
