Ordered this for my daughter for Halloween. She loved it, and decided her early-October birthday party was going to be superhero themed just so she could wear it. The vinyl is very durable - the girl spent the day running all over the back yard, and climbing our cedar trees, and not a tear in the thing! Another plus is it is food-resistant! She spilled cake on herself and it just wiped right off! The size runs a little small though. My daughter is small for her age, so a 7/8 should run a bit larger on her. Length-wise, the legs and sleeves had room to grow, but it was a comfortable fit around her midsection. And the hood is huge! Good looking durable costume, well worth the money!

Great Costume
The costume is actually very nice. I did order q size up like suggested which wasn't necessary for my lanky chicks but it fits well enough to nit exchange. As other reviews have said the belt is HUGE as well as the wings. That's my only complaint. Even with that its still a great costume and we will find a way to fix those minor issues.

Looks Great, Modifications Needed to Make It Perfect
Firstly, let me tell you that this costume is very accurate to the Batgirl in the DC Superhero Girls show. Secondly, the costume is not perfect; Some modifications were needed. Next, I will list what I liked and discuss some of the problems with the costume and what I did to fix them. I like that this costume comes with 7 pieces (hood, pants, 2 gauntlets, belt, backpack wing thing, mask); I liked that the pants and the hood are two-piece as opposed to the jumpsuit version which can make it hard for a child to go to the bathroom if taking the costume to school. The main problem is with the gauntlets and the wings. All of these are made with a piece of foam glued to the clothlike layer over it with the design. The glue used is not great, it comes apart very easily. Another reviewer has photos of this, and it shows that there are also bubbles forming in it. Luckily mine was not as bad it was just falling apart but no bubbles were forming. To fix this, I used thin double-sided glue tape to make it stick better and then sowed the outline to keep it from opening again. Also the belt was too big so I sowed another piece of Velcro and that problem was easily solved. Lastly, I also bought some yellow boots to go with the costume. This combo is perfect and now she is ready for Holloween. I just wished the costume would have been in better shape but it was easy to fix. If you don’t mind making some modifications I would recommend this costume it looks really nice.

Super cute batgirl costume
Love love this costume. My 4 year old runs around in it about once a week. The pants are meh, but the top/hoodie is great. My only advice would be to go a size bigger. She’s 41in tall, weighs ~40 lbs and the tops a pinch snug and kind of short.

Size up. Not worth the money
This item is not sized correctly. The top is small, slim and bottom is big. The wings are very flimsy. It is ok. The fabric is thin. It will ripe easily so be careful putting it on. I got my daughter a small she is a size 6 in girls and it barely fits.

Nice costume, improve the velcro, maybe a button?
my daughter loved it and it fit perfect for super hero day at school. only thing we didnt like was the velcro on back kept coming undone and i had to safely pin it, which wasn't too safe done on a child, in fear it would come unpinned and poke her. Overall though quality is good for the price! Color is vibrant as well.

I went and bought some girls black gloves to go with the arm bands that it came with so that it looked like the cartoon. That is the only thing I think could be added to this costume. The fit and quality was perfect and my daughter loved being Batgirl for Halloween! Thank you for not cutting corners!

Cute Batgirl costume
Super cute and modern looking batgirl costume. It isn't the greatest quality but most costumes aren't unless you buy a premium or deluxe version. It looks great when you put the full look together. The medium was a close fit in the top for my 5 year old. The pants was perfect in size and length. The large would have been too big. My daughter is on the taller side for her age and 55 pounds if that helps anyone. The wing straps were too long, but a little sewing did the trick to keep it in place. I upgraded the belt to another interactive batgirl belt that I saw on Amazon, just a personal choice. The pants are thin but leggings underneath does the trick.

Sehr geehrte Leser, anbei eine kurze Information für diejenigen die noch etwas unsicher sind. Wir haben nach relativ kurzfristiger Lieferung unser Paket erhalten und es war alles in einwandfreien Zustand. Unsere Tochter ist knapp 140 cm groß und sehr schlank. Die bestellte größe von 8-10 Jahre(n) hat etwas locker gesessen aber immer noch bequem gepasst sodass wir nicht gezwungen waren die nächst kleinere Größe zu bestellen. Wir hatten vermutet das die etwas kleinere "Version" etwas enger (also passender) gewesen wäre, aber die Ärmel vielleicht dann doch zu kurz geraten können. 1. Die Farben sind prächtig am glänzen und schienen nicht farblos bzw. matt zu sein. Die Qualität ist für ein Kleinkind in Ordnung. 2. Die Armreifen (sind Styropor) wirken aber dennoch nicht billig, aber einfach. Für den Zweck völlig in Ordnung. 3. Der Gürtel ist (ebenso Styropor) und auch Zweckmäßig in dem was es ist. 4. Das Highlight des Kostüms sind die Flügel. Was mir dabei aufgefallen ist das diese leider nicht sehr straff sind. Abgesehen das sie zu kurz sind und 3-5 cm hätten breiter sein können fallen sie leicht, schlaff nach vorne. Man kann sie etwas nach hinten knicken und dann bleiben sie für eine nicht-lange Zeit etwas gerade. Wären die Flügel zudem etwas breiter würden sie auch gesehen werden. Da sie bei meiner Tochter so breit waren wie ihre Schultern konnte man die Flügel erst dann sehen wenn man leicht seitlich schaute. Dennoch aber sehenswert. 5. Die Maske ist ebenfalls in Ordnung. Wenn man vorsichtig damit umgeht reisst das Gummiband auch nicht ab. Ich denke aber das "fähige" Eltern hier schnell wieder annähen könnten. 6. Bitte von Feuer fernhalten. Ich glaube nicht das der Anzug von einem echten Superhelden entstammt und daher leicht Feuer fangen könnte. der Vorteil ist aber das man die Armreife und den Gürtel dann recht schnell abreissen kann ehe es schlimm endet. :-) Vg Özcan
