Very cute! Glad my guy actually fit! (Well, besides the hood)
I got this for my 60 lb pit/husky mix and had a bad feeling it'd be too small on him. His chest is 27.5", so I just hoped the weight range was for a looser fit. Turns out, I was right! He's got enough room in this to get it on and take it off easily, but only just. He's able to run without restriction, too... But only just. He looks adorable in this, so I'm glad I gambled on it! The costume is a thin, velour-feeling material. I don't think it looks as orange as in the pictures; unsure if it's AI imagery or just how velour impacts light. It has a nice, high cut to the belly so he can pee with it on and not get it wet. The ears and tail are kind of floppy and sad-looking, but I think that's expected when this is only $12.99. The way they're sewn on (fewer points of contact than there could be) is possibly more to blame than a lack of stuffing. My guy wears PJs every night, so this will likely go into the rotation thanks to the softness of it and the ease of putting it on. I think that's one of the best parts - Halloween doesn't have to be just one day a year.

Adorable and Well-Made — Perfect for Shark Week or Holiday Fun!
I picked up this shark costume for my dog because I’m already planning content for Shark Week 2026. This does not disappoint! This is one of the better-made dog costumes I’ve bought (and I’ve tested quite a few). ???? Quality Construction • All the seams are neatly sewn—nothing fraying or coming apart. • The snaps stay securely fastened, even when my pup is moving around. • The fabric and details feel durable and thoughtfully done. This is very soft! ???? Cute, Clever Design I wondered if it would have a full shark head as a hood, but it’s more of a wide collar that frames your dog’s head. The effect? It looks like the shark is eating your dog, with their head popping out of its mouth. Clever! It’s fun, festive, and definitely Instagram-worthy. If you love themed pet content or need a standout costume for Halloween, Shark Week, or just for laughs, this is a great buy.

Runs small
After using their size chart, this came in way too small.

Sizing is much smaller than described. Quality is much thinner than shown.
I ordered this shark costume in 3XS for my tiny 4 lb chihuahua puppy, but a 2XS arrived instead and even that size was still much too small. The size chart is definitely inaccurate, so I recommend double-checking your dog’s measurements before ordering. For reference, the 2XS I received measured about 7.5" in length, 10" around the chest, and 8.25" around the neck, which actually aligns more closely with what’s listed for the 3XS. Visually, the costume looks adorable and festive, but the photos make it appear thicker and more plush than it really is. The material is actually quite thin and flimsy, more like a lightweight hoodie than a warm outfit. It might work for a short indoor photo session, but it doesn’t provide much insulation or structure. I haven’t decided whether to exchange for a larger size or just return it, but overall, I’d say this costume runs very small and feels less substantial than expected. It’s cute in concept, but sizing and material quality could be improved.
