This is a low quality dess up item. The sizing is quite generous. The fabric is very thin. It needs a lot of TLC out of the packet to start looking good. If you are serious about your cosplay then look elsewhere. If you want a one-off fancy dress item then this is OK from a distance but does not stand up to scrutiny.

Good size
Well made costume. Stitching is fine. Not much on the hem, but that's expected these days. Great for a gothic style costume party.

Feels a bit of a budget fit and material
This material feels lovely to the touch, but does crease quite badly and is relatively light so it doesn't quite hang how you'd want a coat of this type to hang. The stitching's adequate but fairly basic, and the buttons feel somewhat cheap - I believe they're just gold-painted plastic, not metal, and I feel that they could get scratched or damaged quite easily (a couple of mine already had small scratches in them). The style is nice but I'm not quite convinced that the chest section has been designed to fit properly, as it seems to gape out a little more than it should, just not hanging all that well. Although the neck ruffles does help to hide this a bit. It doesn't at all look like the material in the photos, it's more of the sort of fabric you get with very soft plushie toys, rather than the tightly woven smooth almost suit-like fabric that the photo seems to show. The neckpiece has three clips to allow for different sizings, although the clips themselves aren't great, being noticeably difficult to clip on yet very easy to release, which could make it quite easy for it to come loose unexpectedly. A safety pin would be advised to keep it together. Overall I'd say this coat is just a little disappointing - mostly on the grounds of the cheap-feeling fabric and that it doesn't seem all that well fitted - and at current price (£27.99) I feel it's a little expensive for what it is.
