Fit smaller but was perfect for my small 12 month old twins! They did get a little hot but it was freezing outside so I think once out of the carseats they were more comfortable. Super cute! Would definitely order again!

Cute but size up!!
This costume is so stinkin cute. But it runs small. I bought a 12-18 month for my tiny 4 month old and it’s tight. It also shed quite a bit just from trying it on.

EXCELLENT Costume! Very cute and shockingly well made.
I don't normally write reviews but this was a really great costume! I was really surprised by how good it looked on my little 18 month old. It was far better looking and better made than any of the other Elmo costumes we saw and we got tons of comments abt how cute it was. I even had to wash it, and thought for sure it was going to disintegrate, but it looked clean and brand new for us to donate to a new family to enjoy. I wish adult costumes were as nice!

Not worth the $$
For $38 this costume is made pathetically cheap. The back top closure is little Velcro circles and the bottom leg snaps are cheap plastic, we also have red fuzz all over now, just from him wearing it 5 minutes. It is cute but if my 17 month old gets any bigger by next month the costume won't fit. Bottom line, not worth it.

This costume is adorable, but I only give it three stars because it runs small, and it sheds like none other. My baby constantly puts his hands in his mouth, and he was basically just eating fuzz. Worth it because of the cuteness factor, but unfortunate nonetheless.
