Its great. I got 3 to 4 size even though my wee girl isnt turning 3 for another 2 months and it fits perfectly . Its so cute she absolutely loves it.

Size 2-3 for petite 2.5 year old is good. Very cute costume.
Bought the age 2-3 years for my 2.5 year old. It's a separate t-shirt and skirt and is very cute on. My daughter is petite and it fit her very nicely. The skirt is a little on the short side but was totally fine with a pair of tights underneath. The straps on the skirt are also adjustable (2 different button holes), so you can set it to a longer length if needed. Worked great for what I bought it for, and my daughter was comfortable in it for the full day. Because it's a separate t-shirt and skirt you could mix and match with different things, meaning you could actually use it as regular clothing too, not just as a costume.
