Well, he loved it. Perfect costume for my mini ninja! I loved that it came with a “mask” so it made it easy to go out and comply with the mask rules. We withheld my son’s cartwheels, karate chops, flips, and slides across various types of ground cover. None of which seemed to rip it. It was thin enough to not be to hot, but if the whether was different, Long John’s underneath wouldn’t have been a problem. It closed at the back with Velcro which allowed for easy in/out. Again. He loved it, so that’s all that mattered.

Great price, great costume
My 9 year old is on the small side and this fits perfect. He absolutely loves this costume! The foam ninja stars are attached by Velcro, which he thought was very cool. The item arrived sooner than expected.

Order up a size
I bought this in the biggest size (large) for my 8 year old who is in size 8 pants and it fit him great. He had difficulty pulling the hood onto his head but loved the costume nonetheless. The ninja stars are velcroed on so they can take them off and throw them around and there's even a place to attach something else (we added nunchucks) The way the costume is worn my son couldn't go to the bathroom without my help. It did also come with a toy ninja which was a nice little surprise.

Not without faults
Nice looking costume and came with a few accessories which was nice. My kid loved it. OK now here are my gripes. The fabric straps that tie around the legs are attached at the ankle and tie up the leg which is the opposite of others I have seen. This makes it nearly impossible to keep them from falling down which makes for an unhappy kid. Secondly, the way the mask ties (like a doctor's mask) looks a little hacky since you can see the cheeks

I would say this runs a little small. I bought the recommended size for my ten-year old, it said 10-12. He's very skinny, but tall. While the costume does fit, it just barely fits him height-wise and I can't imagine it will fit him in a year or two. If I were to order again I'd go up a size.

I think this costume is great with a few issues
I think this costume is great with a few issues. First, the sizing is way off, if you're going by the typical sizes for kids. My 7 year old's size is average, and fits pretty much everything in his size range. This says that a 6-8 is a small, but after reading other reviews on this product, I decided to order a large, and it fit just the way I wanted. It's a bit big, but I definitely wouldn't have wanted a medium. The other thing is that the tie details on the leg and arms are very long pieces of fabric that you are suppose to tie. They are way too long. My son tried on the costume, and in the 10 minutes he played with it, the fabric had already fallen down and he was tripping on it. It's not a big deal to me (because I plan to sew the fabric into place and then cut the extra fabric), but it's worth mentioning. I wasn't terribly excited buying this product from ilovesexy. I kinda feel like kid's costumes should have a seller name that is less adult sounding... The seller was VERY prompt though, and I had my product within a few days of ordering it!! Finally, the costume came with a toy blue ninja action figure that my boy is crazy about--a bonus I wasn't expecting!

Ninja warrior
My 5 year old grandson loves loves loves his ninja costume. Kids love to play dress up and this is great for fantasy play.
