A head above the competition
5yr old loves it. Easy to put on, quality product, won’t rip or tear. A bit more expensive than the rest but totally worth it.

Great quality
We absolutely love this costume! My 3 year old wear it everyday. It has held up great in the wash! We now give it to all his friends as a birthday present!

We love Meliassa and Doug stuff, costumes, puzzles, games, etc......
My grandsons love this costume more than all of their others and they are 2 and 4. I do not know why? But the 2 year old loves to say "Rrrrrr"..... These costumes are made well and can take a beating while putting on and off/on and off/on and off... AGAIN and AGAIN.......

Worth it
I own all of their pretend outfits and find them to be worth the investment. I typically wait for sales to make my purchases, but if you are considering them, I highly recommend going for it. The quality is excellent, and my son enjoys each one. Each costume includes unique accessories that complement the outfit.

Best costume ever!
My toddler is obsessed with pirates and I knew Melissa and Doug wouldn’t disappoint. I didn’t realize, though, just how nice it would be! The quality is great — really solid construction, nice materials, room to grow! It’s easy enough for him to put on by himself. He has some sensory issues but this costume doesn’t bother him at all. He even wore it for Halloween and it kept him warmer than any polyester blegh costume we could’ve picked up at Spirit. Now I’m on a mission to get all of M&D’s costumes!

Perfect for pirate-loving kids

Quality fabric and well made costume
Great quality pirate costume - the material is thick and high quality (and proper fabric rather than plastic). The hat has survived being crushed multiple times and still retains its shape. The sword feels like it’s made of high quality foam. The eye patch feels a bit flimsy however. My son is 4 years old and has had many hours of play from this set already. I will definitely be buying more from this range.

Worth buying.
Great value for money. The jacket is very nice quality and so is the hat. The sword isn’t flimsy but being made of a foam type material is quite safe for play.
