With it being yellow most people thought our toddler was a duck but he was absolutely adorable in this costume. Size was true but would size up if your child is in between especially if putting layers beneath. It gets keeps them pretty toasty but we added leggings. Good quality for the price.

TOO CUTE & SUPER SOFT
Bought this thinking it was a duck costume. Did not matter. The costume was comfortable and super soft. Very roomy. The 23 month old wore this without complaint all day for Halloween.

My two year old daughter's favorite animal is a chicken ( I do not know why she is so obsessed with them) so I had to get her a chicken costume. The suit itself is actually very soft and it is so adorable. She really loves it and will grab it and try to put it on herself. She is about 25 lbs and the toddler size fit her with plenty of room to grow. Everyone who sees her in this costume loves it! My only problem was the velcro around the chin. The hood is somewhat small and the opening for the head is tiny so the velcro will actually rub against the bottom of your child's chin if you're not careful. I make sure to fold the part that would rub her chin over but it is obviously a bit of an inconvenience so I couldn't give 5 stars. I feel like a kid with a larger head might have problems keeping the hood on.

Cute and umcomfortabley warm
Cute costume. Had about the quality you would expect from a costume of this price. Felt a little cheap, but thats how it seems all costumes are. I had thought this might be good because it did not look too warm and we live in houston. Man I was wrong, this thing is like a thermally insulated chicken suit. You pack this into the walls of your house and the R value will go through the roof. I was just sweating looking at my daughter in it. Steer clear of this if you live in a warm climate, your child will overheat.

Cute, but fits weird.
I ordered this for my daughter who’s 2.5 yrs old and 28 lbs and average height. The hood (head) barely fit over half of her head, so I had to cut the hood off and make it into a hat so it would sit better on her head. The Velcro also was too long on the body and rubbed my daughter’s neck raw just when trying it on, so I had to cut and detach 3 inches of the Velcro so the fabric was the only thing touching my daughters chin/neck. It sheds pretty badly too. She still got many compliments, but I wasn’t a fan of having to alter it so much to make it wearable.
