This costume was perfect for our 6 year old! We had a Batman event to attend and needed something for our girly-girl. She loved it! It’s definitely more of a “costume quality” item rather than “dress up quality,” meaning I don’t anticipate it will handle much more use than a handful of wears (it’s already pealing in places). We snagged it very inexpensively as a warehouse deal, though, so it met our needs perfectly and is very cute!

Great costume for halloween:) held up great
I read the other reviews and was skeptical about purchasing this costume for my 4 1/2 year old. But I am so glad I purchased it! It is such a cute costume for the price! My daughter is in love with the outfit and although it is not the best material it held up the entire night of halloween and still all in one piece :) She was absolutely adorable and the material was light weight enough for Texas weather outside. Great costume for a little girl!!!

Cute, comfortable, and just fine for Halloween night
I bought this costume for Halloween for my daughter, who wears a size 4T clothing, is tall and thin. The size small fit her perfectly. The fabric is pink shimmery lame (luh-may, the type of fabric). The boots, gauntlets, belt, and mask have a thin, spongy layer attached to the lame, which gives them more heft. Straight out of the package, the costume was wrinkled, of course, but smoothed out nicely by hanging it up. The belt is held in place by two belt loops and ties in the back, which is fine because it's covered by the cape. Everything held up fine, except for the mask, which did not make it through the night before getting ruined. This is the reason for the loss of a star in my rating. The inside of the mask (the spongy material) tore in many places and then became separated from the fabric front of the mask, making it unwearable. It wasn't that big of a deal, because by that point my daughter had her fun with the mask and didn't seem too upset about it. All in all, I am satisfied by the quality for the price. It was adorable and my daughter loved it.

It fit and looked great!!
Due to the recent passing of a teacher at my children's school, they had a "superhero" day to raise money for the family. I was able to find this and another costume, got it shipped with Prime in 2 days, and my child was able to wear it to school! It fit and looked great!!!! Will definitely go to Rubies for the next costume we need!

True this isn't as durable as some costumes. What it lacks in durability, it makes up in adorability! My 5 year old daughter loved it. It probably does run small. We bought the medium and it fit my average sized kindergartener well. Not a princess, but very girlie! We were really happy with our "Pink" batgirl.

Great summer costume
Got this for my girl to wear to her friend's superhero costume birthday party. My daughter loves pink and the party was on a mid-July day in the Texas heat. My daughter LOVED the costume. She is 3 1/2. She even wore the mask, but she didn't want to wear the silver belt. It was perfect for such a hot summer day. She could just un-velcro the cape and remove the accessories, then it was like a thin, comfortable dress. All the other kids had to take their costumes off because they were thick Batman costumes and such. (She was the only girl there). If you're looking for Halloween, I'd take the weather into consideration. But a great play costume.

Batgirl in pink
My daughter's costume outfit went over well for the Halloween event we attended. Although her eye mask I put on was constantly being ditched by her annoyance with being in complete character throughout the event. (LOL, she's 5yo). It was a good choice for the money. The boot coverings for her sneakers were awesome & secured by an elastic band. I'd recommend this costume to another parent/guardian.

She loves it
Pink Bat-girl is a hit at our house. She loves to dress up. Costume is a little flimsy but will last through the Halloween season and maybe some dress-up after. Skimpy and thin so plan on wearing something under it. (I wish we had bought a size larger) Don't be fooled by the cape it does not go over the shoulders, only behind the back. It is very cute and my 7 year old daughter loves it.

A few simple changes would make this a good product. As it stands it's just OK
This costume is poorly made but the materials are of good quality. The mask is simply cut out without the edges being stitched. The eye holes are placed in an odd position along with a third hole that I can only assume is for the nose. But heaven help the designer who thought a child's nose is positioned where the hole is ( on the forehead) Items well made are - The boot coveres - the arm strap. Poorly made - the mask - The belt is simply a cut material with no buckle or even velcro The Cape is is the middle. It's of a good quality material for what it is but the velcro fastener was not well thought out. For a few simple adjustments to the design with no additional cost of manufacture this could be a really good value item. But as it stands it will suffice for a few uses but as an additional the the dressing up box I don't think it will last long. It gets three stars because the materials, boot covers and arm covers and materials are decent quality. Minus two stars for the belt and mask.
