Daughter LOVED her costume. I bought 1 size up so she could wear warm clothes underneath. It was perfect. The wig however was quite small and would not fit on her head with her hair pulled back. That's the only reason it is getting 4 stars.

Joy costume
Yes, costume is appropriate for the character representation; however quite thin of material. My daughter is will be wearing a top and leggings as it very shear in nature. Size fits well per age recommendations. Definitely costume quality and value , not something she would continue to wear . Wig is the proper shade of blue.

This dress was so flimsy and cheaply made...I could have done better with a pillowcase and a couple of magic markers. the wig was completely unwearable. So small it wouldn't fit my daughter's head. It was also covered in some sort of spray that made it just glob together. It seriously looked and felt like road kill. I was extremely disappointed and should have trusted the other reviews that described it as bad. Not the picture in the ad at all!!! Don't waste your money, it will not bring you JOY!!!

One time use
Our four year old loves to dress up. She squeezes into costumes from several years ago. This Joy costume will not be one that she has very long. It worked great as a Halloween costume. However, its usefulness beyond that night is quickly coming to an end. The seams around the midsection have already been resewn by mom. The material is super thin as well. But, it did great for one night.

Wasted Money
The dress is okay, but the wig isn't even usable. it came all glued together in a mass of sticky blue fur-like substance. I tried soaking it and washing it to no avail. still can't use it. I did finally get it to at least open up, but the shape is so strange I can't get it to stay on my daughters head, and there is still glue all through it. Going to buy another wig. Not really happy about that. Over-all, I'd call this a pretty big waste of money.
