My son loves the Adam West version of Batman so I got him this costume for Halloween. Honestly, it's one of the best costumes ever. He wants to wear it every day, and in January it's still holding up fine. We machine wash it and it comes out great. It's well made and well designed. I love the "fins" that stick out from the forearms, they are soft but stiff and keep their shape. The mask is hard plastic, very durable, and designed so it doesn't restrict his vision. The cape is a great touch, and I'm glad it's removable for when he wants to wear the costume in bed. The only part we don't use is the belt. On his little pot belly and with the smooth fabric, it kept slipping down. Bottom line, he feels like Batman in this and it makes him so happy to wear it. I just got him another in one size bigger for when he grows out of this one!

I don't normally write reviews on here, but I know there are a lot of questions about sizing on these costumes. I ordered the size small 4-6. My son will be 3 next week and will wear this at his Batman themed party. He is a little bigger than average, wears size 4T for tops and 3t for bottoms and this fits him perfectly with a little room to grow. I'm very satisfied with the way it looks on him. He wants to wear it all the time. I'm glad I didn't get one with the muscle chest because it seems like it would cause discomfort. Since he's only worn it once I can't say much about how long it will last, but I can tell the seams are week and I'm sure I will need to eventually make some repairs. So happy it looks good on him and he loves it so that's what matters.

My 4 yr old son loves this costume! He specifically asked for a blue Batman costume, and this one fit the bill. There is another one on Amazon with a muscular chest more like the "real" Batman, but this one looked like it would be easier for my son to get on and off himself, and also more comfortable for everyday "dress-up" use. If it was to be worn for Halloween, I might have chosen the other one. With three daughters and one son, we have a number of costumes for dress-up in our home, some of which are a bit chintzy, but this is a good quality costume and looks like it will hold up. I am removing one star because a) the mask strap is a bit short and therefore tight around the head and I'm guessing he will outgrow it before the rest of the costume, and b) the belt has a very long "sash" in the back which looks a bit goofy, but is thankfully mostly hidden by the cape. Neither are deal breakers and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Preschool Batman here to save the day.
My son just turned 4 and he is in to all things "super hero". He opened this costume on his birthday and literally put it on immediately. After playing outside, cake with red frosting and chocolate ice cream from his party, the costume was in need of a good wash less than 2 hours after opening it. I washed it inside out on delicate and line dried it. I was amazed at how easily it cleaned up. Even the red frosting came out without any extra soaking or treatment. We've had some issues with some random thread strings I've had to trim off. I'm giving it 4 stars because the quality could be a bit better, but for the price, it still can't be beat.

Just what I was looking for!
This was a gift for my 4yr old 4 weeks ago. We got the size Small and it fits exactly- my son just turned 4yrs old but he wears 5T clothes. The fabric is thin and stretchy so it goes on over other clothes that aren't too bulky. He can put it on himself except for tying the belt, which I tied once and is stretchy enough he just slides it on over his feet. Other than a few stray strings now and then it is holding up very nicely. I washed it in the machine (instead of by hand) and my husband accidentally put it in the dryer! But it survived unscathed! I have no complaints. I feel I've already got my money's worth and that there are still many more weeks of play. I'm confident he'll outgrow it before it wears out.

This costume is extremely cheaply made and fragile. My son has had it one day and the cape is already starting to fall apart.

Cute, easy, love it.
Super cute. My little guy loves it! It's not so easy to find a Batman costume for a 3 year old. Easier to find for baby or 4+. I love how easy this is to put on. The Velcro closure on the cape was the only thing that bothered my son. It kept rubbing against his neck and he was left with a red, raw and sore patch on his neck. We tried to fix this by tucking the closure between the costume and his undershirt; it worked temporarily. We also got the Batman in black that has padded muscles, but he prefers this one. We ordered size small. The mask fits well - doesn't fall down and isn't too tight and lines up with his eyes well. The cape is the perfect length.

Great Costume!
Ordered this for my 4 1/2 year old. He loved it immediately, it fit perfectly and was so cute on him! The mask was a little uncomfortable for him as it is made of hard plastic and it seemed to make his face sweaty. He wouldn't wear the mask at first but seemed to forget about the discomfort once in the midst of trick or treating!

Poor quality material and stitching.
1. The quality of the material is extremely poor. There's runs in the material every time it comes into contact with its own Velcro. 2. These three images are of the product straight out the packaging - before it was worn for the first time. The stitches at the back and under both arms were coming apart. 3. The two small bits of Velcro at the back are insufficient to close the back. It's 80% open. 4. While it looks fine, the quality is poor and won't last even if handled with the utmost care. So, what chance does it have with 3-5 year olds wearing it?
