So much fun for the kids.
Grandchildren loved this. Played with it for hours. It is a little messy and sticky. I would make sure to play with it outside or protect the surface inside. But overall the kids were very happy. The colors are vibrant, it’s easy to mold together and kids can really get creative.

Great options for slime.
My daughter loves this. I’m not a fan of the “cloud” mixture as it leaves a slimey residue on our table that I have to use a wet paper towel and then a dish rag to fully wipe up. The other mixtures are ok! Smells yummy. Full to add the different beads/glitter/accessories to the slime.

Obsessed
Bought this for my 8-year-old's birthday and it's been a huge hit. The different textures are really cool - the cloud compound is super fluffy and light, while the butter one is exactly what it sounds like, smooth and spreadable. The super stretch stuff lives up to its name too. The scents are actually pretty accurate and not overwhelming. The strawberry and watermelon ones smell really good, though the blue raspberry is a bit artificial. My daughter loves mixing the scents together to create "new flavors." All the little mix-ins are where this really shines. The glitter makes everything sparkly (fair warning - it gets everywhere), and those tiny foam balls add a satisfying crunch. The alien and smiley face pieces are adorable and my kid spends forever incorporating them into whatever she's making. Even caught myself playing with the roller skate charm - it's surprisingly detailed for something so small. The containers seal well, which is crucial. We've had this for about three months and everything is still fresh and squishy. No dried-out disappointment like with regular Play-Doh that gets left out.

Play-Doh makes rainy days fun
When kids are home for the summer, rainy days can be a drag. Unless you have some fun projects up your sleeve as a stop-gap against the "I'm bored!" syndrome. Play Doh Retro Mix and Play is one of those projects. I love that Play-Doh allows kids to have some messy fun without a bunch of messy cleanup (just don't play with it on the carpet). This set is a step up from traditional Play Doh with its varying textures, fruity scents, and fun mix-ins. Mix, match, experiment, create. The kid especially loves the cloud one, which is soft and cool to the touch. He also loves the stretchy ones, which he enjoys with the add ins, and two come in the set. Although the foam one was his least favorite at first, he changed his mind when he discovered he could roll it into a ball and bounce it. It has kept his attention for multiple days. Rainy day doldrums solved! Recommended.

Fun Scents and Textures
Why did you pick this product vs others?: My son still loves to play with Play-Doh so this pack was great for him. He loves all the different smells and textures of the dough. Some of them were stickier than others, some were crunchy (had foam balls in them). The add ons, like the little smiley faces, were fun for him to be able to make each dough a little different. The smells were the basic type- different berry smells and orange scented. One of the doughs in particular was a little wetter and stickier, but thankfully didn't leave behind any residue!
