Great building experience
What is not to like this was my first venture into building a model like this and I will say I will not be my last. Directions are clear enough and it turned out great. The parts are included if you want to build the more iconic USS Arizona vs the USS Pennsylvania which is very appreciated.

Great ship model.
This is an excellent model, and you get a choice to build the Arizona or the Pennsylvania. The instructions are easy to follow and the finished product looks great. The parts fit together well, and the ship feels well constructed after it is built. I have no issues moving it around before putting it in it's final display area.

OK if not for several missing pieces
We are into bag #3 and there have been missing pieces in every bag. Very frustrating for an 8 year old boy trying to tackle a challenge. Mom and Dad have been helping so we have been able to verify he is correct; that they are actually missing. And this was a gift from Santa, so I can tell he is disappointed and wondering why it is missing things. We have an extensive lego collection, so we have been scrapping pieces from his legos to sub in, just so he can keep going. But for such an expensive set, we shouldn't have to be doing that. Pretty disappointed.

"Big Sis Penn" will always be one of my favorite Ship-fus, mainly because she has that whole OL look to her. As always, Cobi continues to be the Gold Standard. The pictures here show Cobi Pennsylvania alongside Oxford Arizona. 'Nuff said.

Best Cobi Battleship to Date
Cobi warship models have generally been a highlight of their brand, but the USS Pennsylvania/Arizona is probably one of the best they have done. While there are a few minor errors/omissions (this is still a building block set, not a museum-quality model), overall they have done an excellent job of capturing the look and shape of the ship. The hull and superstructure is mostly quite sturdy, and while the tripod masts are a bit flimsy, there really is no way to do that type of shape with building blocks that will not be at least a little bit fragile. Some have noted there is a step when building the stern that seems to require what would be in Lego an "illegal" connection. While I cannot speak to the long term stresses on the piece, I can say that, while it requires a little bit more effort/attention that normal, the step can be completed as instructed with the Cobi pieces.

It is a cool set, got as a gift for my son, but already missing 3 pieces and only into the first bag. Support it's not responding to emails.

Das Cobi Modell lässt sich wunderbar zusammensetzen und bauen. Cobi ist schon echte geile Marke. Die Schiffe von Cobi die USS Arizona und USS Pennsylvania zum Beispiel sofort Kaufen. Lohnt sich auch als Weihnachtsgeschenk!
