Simple, inexpensive, durable, solves the problem it is designed for - what's not to like?
This product does what it sets out to do - keep annoying gnats and mosquitos out of the wearer's face. The head net is large easily slips over my noggin. I wore it to keep the midges away while backpacking in Iceland and it worked great. Works with both a billed cap as shown on package or just a knit cap or even with no hat at all. Mesh is small enough to keep all the critters out, but doesn't overly impede the wearer's vision, like squinting with a green tinge - totally worth it in my opinion to not have to spray harmful bug spray or constantly wave my hands in front of ears and face. Only downside is that once it is unpacked, you will never get it folded up as nice again. I would definitely buy again as it is so inexpensive and solves a huge annoyance.

Product works !
This netting does stop "no-see'ems", which is very nice. Recommended.

Keeps the gnats out of my face
It works, but it just seems to be a big blob over my head. I’ve never used one of these before, so I’m not really used to it, so it may be perfect, I don’t know.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly....
My kids hate bugs, I don't mind them as long as they are not biting my face. I do not want to put insecticide on my face so in bad bug situations this is a much better option. The Good: Works as intended! As noted in the Amazon feedback review from Coghlan's, the current model (got mine in 2016) was improved to be longer and fits over all standard hat types. The Bad: Does not work with t-shirts or tanktops or any low neckline shirt. No product made for only the head will do that, look at the shirt or full body model for that kind of protection. The Ugly: Yes this thing is ugly, look at the product picture and imagine how you would look in a head net.... And yes like the other people mentioned, their is a slight green tint due to the very small no-see-ums hole size requirement. In summary all things considered I highly recommend a head net: This is not a beach wear item, but if you are camping or canoeing in the deep woods and get a swarm of flying insects liking your scent, you can protect your face until you get to better cover (like a closed tent). Additionally if you care more about protecting your your face from chemicals than protecting your vanity, then this product is for you.

Good to have when the need arises
I wear this over a baseball cap and between this, long clothes and picariden, I don't have as much trouble with insects as some. One of those items that is simple and just works. A good trick I started doing recently was to use this instead of a stuff sack for extra clothing items. I don't bring much but its a good way to organize a bit better while giving this a use. I think it also speaks for the construction and materials because I can handle this often without worry of accidentally tearing holes.

Does not live up to "no see um" claims, unfortunately
I know Coughlan's to be a highly respectable brand from other products of theirs I've used for years and continue to enjoy. Unfortunately this particular headnet fails to live up to their reputation, and I nearly returned it but was told by a family member not to bother because it's better to have *some* protection than zilch. Just know: this is not really made for actual noseeum insects such as midges and tiny gnats. The netting is fairly coarse and would be great for mosquitoes and flies and such. It is very much inadequate for midges, and I'm frankly stunned and amazed that a well-respected company like Coughlan's is shipping this product with this claim. The netting on what we received has pore / net spaces approaching 1mm, and that's simply not going to work for our midges, which easily pass through it along their axis. So... if you need this for mosquito protection, great product. The sewing is fine, no gaps there! But if you need this for what its name implies, keep looking, or buy it and suffer the onslaught. Summary: what the heck, Coughlans? Seriously, you're better than this.

A lifesaver
Fine to have and not need but it is horrid to need this net hat and not have one. It is not a perfect system but it will keep most of the bloodsuckers at bay. Easy enough to put on and see thru. Need a hat with a brim to push the material away from the face just a bit. Easy to carry with, as you dont need to wear this thing the whole time, just around the pesky bugs. Dont kill the bugs, its their house youre trapesing through! Just ward the bugs away, don't further the mass extinction event! Thanks!

With Extra Length Added It Now Has Plenty of Coverage
I ordered this head net in July of 2014 after reading that the company had redesigned it to add 3 more inches of length to the product, and I'm glad they did, for when I put it on over my visor it fell down just below my neck nicely, but without that extra 3 inches of coverage I'm sure it would have risen up above my neckline like people in the past said it did. But now that it is longer it covers my whole head and neck area well when wearing a typical visor or baseball hat, and I can tuck it into my T-shirt's collar to be sure no skin is exposed too. However, it is a bit hard to see through (or maybe I just have to get used to wearing it more and one day I'll then look past all the little "holes" I see now), but for gardening and hiking in the woods (my main 2 reasons for getting it) it should be fine.

I have not used this much as yet, but ...
I have not used this much as yet, but it certainly helps when your outdoors for elongated periods of time or if your plan to go on a holiday that involves a lot of camping or trekking etc. The netting will definitely save your face from being devoured by mosquito's and other insects and keep them at safe distance from one's eyes and face as a whole. Will try to update when I use it further, but for now it serves the purpose and is essential since the face and part of the neck are always left exposed to the environment and hence are most vulnerable to insect attacks/bites, this net solves that issue.

FENOMENAL
CUANDO VAS POR EL CAMPO Y HAY GRAN CANTIDAD DE INSECTOS ES MUY CÓMODO LLEVAR ESTA RED. SE VE BASTANTE BIEN A TRAVES DE ELLA Y TIENE UN TAMAÑO ADECUADO POR LO QUE TE SIENTES MUY CONFORTABLE CUANDO LA USAS
