Great Value and Good Quality
Do yourself a favor and buy these rail fasteners instead of buying many small packages for a lot more money per joiner. They are well made and come on a roll. They can be easily clipped apart with rail nippers. The quality is good, the ease of installing them is great, and you will enjoy your model railroad track installation a lot more by using them.

First this is an excellent rail joiner for Code 83 and 100 rail. These fit way better that the atlas joiners I have been paying $9 for 48 pieces. I also like these are notched and you can actually make them shorter for tight spots. I know you have to see the joiner to understand. I must have bought 20 packages of 48 pcs, in the last 2 years. Just buy these and stop getting ripped off by atlas on their packages on #170 rail joiners. Another nice thing is that these are one continuous strip and you can cut them off as needed. There also seems to be less room between joiners and I did not have to trim off the excess material between parts. I would buy these again in a second. This is the best deal in HO model railroading

Great Idea and Price
I just clip them off with side cutters. Clip them on the track, and they are good to go. Great price over buying smaller quantities.

Save a life
I didn’t have this on my boat. If you have a vessel that is 26 ft or bigger you need to have on as per U. S.Coast Guard. This one is kinda heavy and it’s hard. So if you have to throw it try not to hit them. I purchased the line you need to have also. Well made hope i never have to use it but if I do I’ll have it.
