Impressive Late-War Yamato Model with Improved Details
This late-war Yamato model by Cobi is a significant improvement over the previous version, especially in terms of armament and turret details. While assembling the model, I encountered a missing piece in the bridge, but Cobi's customer support promptly resolved the issue by sending the needed piece. The instructions provided are clear, making the assembly process manageable. However, it's worth noting that completing this model may take longer than an afternoon. Overall, the late-war Yamato model offers excellent details and customer service, with clear instructions for assembly.

Amazing quality and presentation.
I was a little hesitant at first as I have only ever used Lego products but after reading the reviews and finally getting a Cobi set, I can say that the quality of the pieces is excellent and I really can't tell the difference between them. Loving building this set and have ordered 2 more ships

Another excellent updated entry by Cobi
Excellent late-war representation of the Yamato that is greatly improved over the previous model. Armament is much more detailed and the turrets look much better. Did have one missing piece in the bridge but Cobi’s excellent customer support sent me the needed piece. Instructions are clear and assembly isn’t a chore but just be aware this probably isn’t a finish in one afternoon project.

Christmas magic!
Our 8-year-old wanted this set so badly, asked for months, it was the only thing on his Christmas list. Thankfully, I caught it when Amazon offered 0% payments. We just couldn’t have done it otherwise, not in this economy. But wow what an amazing gift. He was absolutely bowled over by it when he opened it Christmas morning. He and his daddy built it together over about four days. I didn’t hear of any issues or frustrations during their build. COBI is usually quite good with the instructions. It turned out amazing and we have a super happy kid with a magical Christmas memory.

Excellent Kit
Engineering design on this kit was great. All major bricks went in easily. Highly recommend this kit for history buffs. Finished ship is solid and fits on stand correctly (LOCKS INTO BOTTOM OF SHIP). iT IS ROUGHLY 35" LONG AND 5" WIDE.

Missing Bag from Part 6 and piece from Part 7
After realizing I was missing pieces from part 6 I went through and pulled all the pieces from that section and bagged them on the left. It appears that one of the small bags within my bag 6 was a duplicate and I'm missing a bag. I'm missing 57 pieces and can't continue. I've sent a missing pieces request to Cobi through their website. We shall see if their customer service is dependable. PS I've had several sets from them and this is the first time this has happened. The other 3 sets I've built from them so far didn't have any issues at all. What I was originally missing by item number: 43671 x20 110411 x8 107485 x9 98155 x12 86011 x2 82096 M x2 108368 x1 132141 x3 Update: 06/12/23 I received a bag containing some of the missing pieces via mail from their office in Poland today. The bag only contains the first 20 pieces that I was missing. I'm now missing 37 pieces and still can't continue the build after waiting 16 days. I'll contact their support and update again. So far this isn't looking good for their Customer Service process. Update 07/01/23 I never received a reply via email after replying to their original email. I contacted a third party distributor (buildcobi) to see if they had a contact at the Poland office. On 6/23 I received an email from a person directly from the warehouse in Poland and they said they would send me an entire new bag 6 that following Monday so nothing would be missed. As of today I have not received any sort of confirmation that anything has been shipped and when I tried contacting the person again I received an automatic response saying they're out until the 14th. I'm hoping that the bag was at least sent out and I just didn't receive notice. I went ahead and opened up bags 7 and 8 to do what I can do and apparently I'm also missing a piece from bag 7. Piece # 121896. I don't know what kind of QC this company or warehouse has but to have this many problems is incredulous. I've added a picture of the current progress. That's all I can do at this point... 8/13/23 Received a package in the mail last week containing an entirely new bag 6. I can finally continue... Moving from 1 to 2 stars as they finally resolved the missing piece issue, but it took 3 months to do it. If the original missing piece request had been reviewed fully in the first place this could have been avoided and resolved quickly and this would be an easy 5 stars. :-(

Boa alternativa ao Lego, especialmente para fãs de equipamentos militares / segunda guerra mundial
Primeiramente, os pontos positivos: a qualidade do kit é boa, as instruções são claras, é bem sólido e resistente depois de montado e o fato de colocarem kits relacionados a equipamentos militares é sem dúvida nenhuma o ponto alto. Com relação aos pontos fracos, o controle de qualidade deixa passar algumas peças erradas ou faltantes, mas no meu caso não chegou a afetar significativamente a montagem (apenas um detalhe estético pequeno). Em mais de 2600 peças apenas uma veio trocada. Como dito, é uma alternativa ao Lego então não espere o mesmo perfeccionismo e qualidade (apesar do preço ser bastante similar) No geral, os pontos fortes falam mais alto por isso mantive 5 estrelas na avaliação. O custo é similar, a qualidade é um pouco inferior mas o tipo de kit que não existe em outras marcas acaba fazendo a diferença.

Bauspaß und Steinequalität top!
Cobi liefert auch mit diesem Bausatz eine konstant hohe Qualität ab. Das Modell ist schwer und stabil, die Steine sind von der Oberflächengüte, der Klemmkraft und der Farbgenauigkeit auf höchstem Niveau und stehen denen von Lego in nichts nach. Zudem findet man hier keinerlei Sticker, alles ist bedruckt. Das Modell selbst ist beeindruckend, der Bau hat Spaß gemacht.

どこにも書いてない保証期限
子供が1年半かけて少しずつ作っていたのですが、パーツが小分けされた1袋分ほど足りないことに気付き連絡をすると、箱にも取説にも一年保証と記載がないのに、一年保証なので無償対応が難しいと返答されました。購入してすぐに大量のパーツを全部数えられるわけがないのに、もやもやします。
