Great quality, good size pieces for seniors

Since my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia last year we've been doing puzzles together as a pastime to excercise her mind and maintain fine motor skills in her hands. I've ordered over 30 puzzles from master pieces, Buffalo, ceaco, and bits and pieces. This was the first ceaco we did and it was a great experience. The pieces were a good size and the cut patterns were fun and varied. The pieces locked together very well which isn't always the case, and when dealing with large swaths of like-colors (sky, sand, clouds) poor piece fitment can have you doubting each move. That was not a problem with ceaco. In addition to the piece size, cut pattern, and fitment, the picture itself was great. Ceaco has a few of these puzzles where the perspective is from an interior looking out a large window. The symmetry was fun and gave clues that helped my grandmother place her pieces. They also used a lot of unique patterns and objects throughout the image so if you found a certain shade of teal or irradescent purple you could work out where it belonged. The smallest pop of color on a piece was like another clue on a treasure map. Very fun, will be buying more.

Refreshing and Fun Puzzle

Larger 300 pieces

I’m in a Care Center and sometimes bored so I thought maybe I’d do a jigsaw puzzle. I thought price a bit high but I did choose well because the Lodge puzzle was beautiful. Pieces larger than most were easy to handle. I did the puzzle in a lounge area table. It was almost finished and another patient finished it! Didn’t even leave me the last piece to put in. Bummed me out. Hope I can afford another of this companies puzzle again.. I really did like the bigger pieces, so much easier to handle.

Love Tracy Flickenger Puzzles

I have done a bunch of Tracy Flickenger puzzles. I think there were three last year and maybe 3 the year before. I love them all because they have so much going on in the designs that they are interesting to work. They don't have big areas of endless blue sky etc. I also love that this one is 300 pieces with large pieces that I can see well. I think this is a great medium sized puzzle for people of all ages. I could do this in one sitting if I worked it for a couple hours straight but I like to first do the border and then come back and work a little more each day. It's enough pieces to feel a little challenged but not so many that I get overwhelmed or it seems like a job. I also love that it has a large guide photo so I do not have to rely on a tiny photo on a box. The pieces in this puzzle are all fully interlocking. In other words they all have 4 sides with either and innie or outie on each side. No weird shaped pieces. If you see a piece with a straight edge you know for sure it's part of the border. I do not care for weird shaped pieces so this is important to me. Thanks for reading my review
