Cool toy, could be better quality
Overall my son loves it and we have a blast playing it together. My issues with it are this: - bridge only has 2 supports, so only 1 support for the section of bridge. Cars are lightweight so it “works”, but it’s a little bit of function over form. For another $0.05 they could have included 2 more supports to make it sturdy - the cars are sturdy, but the metallic connection to the track are weak. They use a “feather” type item with 4 “feathers”. For young kids these are ‘intriguing’ and if you pull them they come off really really easy. In short I’m not sure how long these will last before worn out and need to be replaced

Would Buy Again
The media could not be loaded. I liked the product, it worked well for us. Sometimes the car does come off the tracks, we just wipe the bottom of the cars across our jeans to remove anything, send it around the track a few times slow to get a grip, then go full speed. It’s worked for us. Part of the cardboard pieces you see in the picture need cut out of the box. I thought they were missing until I looked closer. We decided not to and to keep the box for storage. My cat probably enjoyed this set more than anyone. The reviews worried me but I’m glad I bought it. Mine was not sent in another box, so it was clearly visible what it was. I’d suggest the gift option jic if you need it to be a surprise. The original batteries are still going for us 2 months later. Would buy again.

Would NOT recommend.
This was a gift for my neighbor's child and, after just a few days, they informed me that they needed to return it after the contacts responsible for making the vehicles move kept disconnecting. They said they even tried replacing the contacts but that the track itself still just didn't work. Super disappointing, especially to a young boy.

Never worked when opened
Never worked when it was opened and had to return not worth the money. Too expensive for what you get. Cheaply made.

Fun toy but low quality for the price
I would of returned this if my son didn't love playing with it but its got issues. Right out of the box 1 of the controllers wasn't working & Luigi's head fell off. Emailed Carrera and all they said was we've forwarded your request to the responsible employees. 2.5 weeks later nothing. I'll probably have to break out the soldering kit to attempt to fix the controller.
