I chose to order the longer, pointy-with-pom-pom, hats (Style B) and am so glad I did - they're lovely! I presume the yarn is acrylic, but it's nice and soft and knitted with stitches that a hand-knitter could have knitted (as opposed to the extremely fine stitches that only a machine could produce). No fibre content or knitting instructions are included, but if it's acrylic (I suspect it is), it'll wash by any method that avoids too much heat and the colours are highly unlikely to run into one another. The pom-pom doesn't appear to be readily removable for laundering. (Incidentally, the listing mentions "crocheted", but even Style A looks knitted and I can't see any crochet in either style - definitely not in the one I have!) The (adult) hat is really stretchy and comfortable to wear and fits even larger-than-average heads well. (The baby one is being saved for near Christmas as a surprise, so hasn't been tried yet) Supplied vaccuum-packed for efficient transport, they are really creased at first, but a good shake soon makes them look more "normal" and when it's stretched over a head, there won't be any creases in that part, and the "pointy bit" will normally be folded in use anyway! I'm genuinely delighted with these - so much better than the one I had previously with "faux fur" round the edge, which was hot, uncomfortable, and itchy to wear. If you see somebody wearing one of these in December whilst doing their supermarket shopping . . . it may well be me! :-)

Stank when first opened and weren't overly comfortable
Lovely idea for matching parent and baby christmas hats but when i first opened these I couldn't get past the strong stintch of fish and then the look of them seemed very cheap and weirdly shaped, however once washed and worn they weren't as bad but weren't overly comfortable. I didn't really like the final look or fit of them.

Pom poms are thread not fluffy as pictured
I ordered the long version of the xmas hats. They are cute and a reasonable price, but don't look quite like the pictures. The pom poms are thread, not fur as pictured. The knit isn't the best in the world, but i was happy enough with the price and quality until i realised the pom pom doesn't match the pictures. Would fit most ages as they stretch. Reasonable enough for basic matching xmas hats.

Cute matching hats
These knitted Santa hats are adorable for families. They’re soft, warm, and stretchy enough to fit both adults and little ones. The pom pom and crochet style give them a cosy festive look, and they make for lovely matching Christmas photos. Great fun for the season.

OK for the price
These adult and child knitted Santa hats, are I would say, fair quality. As they are a seasonal novelty item, it is not as if they will need to stand up to much wear and tear, so should be fine. They are very stretchy and will fit a big size range of heads. Unfortunately they do not come with either washing instructions or any indication as to what they are made of. They came vacuum sealed which has left the hats very crushed and the pompoms a bit squashed looking. Overall cheap and cheerful.
