Very cute!
I ordered both the medium and large for my very tall daughter because I wasn't sure which would fit. She's 4'9" and thin (about 60 pounds). The Medium was perfect for length (both at the sleeves and hem). The skirt comes all the way down to her ankles, but is far enough off the ground that it doesn't need to be hemmed up any. The fabric is interesting --- I was expecting more of a cotton percale, but it feels similar to a silky polyester. It's nice and thick, though, so I think it will be durable.

Great value, well made, and cute, too
This was bought for a school project. It arrived quickly and looked just darling and quite appropriate. The quality for the money was really good; I was very surprised how good this looked. The sizing is really quite true as advertised. I highly recommend this dress. I could not have made this for the money.

This product runs true to size or a little small. It worked for the costume my daughter needed for a program at school

Runs big but otherwise nice!
See attached pics for the size chart on the packaging. My daughter wears a size 10 or 10/12 when applicable. We ordered a medium with the knowledge that the dress runs big but I'd rather it be big than too small. It fits her perfectly except it's a bit long (down to the floor) so I might need to hem it. The size chart says med is size 8/10 and large is 10/12 so I would normally have leaned toward the large but this item does run large. Overall the quality looks good... It's a costume so it's polyester, not cotton, but it's perfect for her pioneer project in school.

SO CUTE
This is absolutely adorable and good quality. My daughter wanted to be Mary Ingalls for Halloween so we ordered this. You know it's always a gamble ordering online but this is a lovely print and great quality. It's a stretchy polyester like fabric so if you're looking for historical accuracy, look elsewhere, but it looked fantastic and daughter reported it felt good on. It is a little long but we just pinned it up, no problem.

Very soft material, Perfect as a Laura Ingalls Wilder Costume
My daughter needed a Laura Ingalls Wilder costume for a school presentation. She is a tall and thin 9 yr old and normally wears size 10/12 clothes. We bought this in a size Medium, since reviews said it runs big. It fit her perfectly, with room to grow (though, it doesn't look at all like it's too big). We also bought the "SCARLET DARKNESS Girls Pioneer Colonial Dress Prairie Costume Dress" in blue, size 12, to compare options. (The size 12 of the Scarlet Darkness dress fit her similarly.) Ultimately, my daughter decided to keep this dress for a few reasons: 1. The material is so comfy, it feels like pajamas. While the Scarlet Darkness dress has a fabric made for real dress wearing and not just as a costume, my daughter was drawn to the softness of this dress. 2. This dress has a full apron (covering chest and waist), which is attached to the dress. The Scarlet Darkness dress has a separate waist apron. My daughter simply preferred the more covered look and that the apron was attached. 3. This dress' bonnet has a velcro strap under the chin and had no creases on the bonnet, so it framed my daughter's face without flopping down over her forehead. The Scarlet Darkness bonnet has to be tied under the chin, resulting in long bow ties hanging down, which she didn't prefer. Also, that bonnet happened to have a large crease in the middle, causing one side of the bonnet to flop slightly over her forehead. We struggled to find a way to make the bonnet stand up so it wouldn't flop on her face. I might have tried ironing and starching the bonnet to remove the crease, but since we were deciding which dress to keep, I didn't want to do anything to the material before making a decision. So, primarily because of the bonnet and the apron, and also because my daughter preferred the softer fabric, she chose to go with this dress. However, she was absolutely delighted with both options, and made her decision ultimately on what she felt were somewhat petty choices. She admitted that if she had only ever tried one of the dresses without the other, she would have been happy with either one of them. I would recommend both this dress and the Scarlet Darkness option as a costume and as a play dress for pioneer enthusiasts.

Nice quality
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. The only thing that could be stepped up is the cheapy velcro closure on the back. Washed it and it didnt fall apart. Fit seems true to size.
