Elegant and impressive envelopes
I really like these. They look rather elegant (I got the black with the gold edging) and they're rather more sturdy than I imagined. They will certainly survive a trop through the post. If you're posting something special (in my case Chinese New Year cards), these are a very welcome way of doing it that adds a little élan to your card or letter. And with thirty in a pack, there's plenty, and it makes them rather good value.

Sehr wertiger Auftritt, der Eindruck macht!
In Zeiten von social media und e-mails gibt es ja kaum noch echte und physische Post, die im Briefkasten landet - diese macht aber daher per se schon Eindruck. Daher bin ich großer Fan von auffälliger Post, die dann noch eindrucksvoller ist und dafür ist dieses Produkt ein echter Anreiz! Zunächst ist es schwere Qualität, die sich wertig anfühlt. Das Papier ist offenporig und liegt sehr angenehm in der Hand - die Goldprägung ist sehr dezent und wirkt filigran, ein Schmuckelement. Mitgeliefert werden Aufkleber, die wie ein Siegel aussehen (tief geprägt und matt gold), diese verschließen den Brief und lassen den Adressaten erkennen, das er/sie den Brief als erster öffnet. Insgesamt wirkt dieser Brief dann sehr individuell, verbindlich und wertschätzend, das mag ich sehr daran. Wenn man diese Briefe für Einladungen nimmt, gibt es sicher kaum jemanden, der ablehnen wird. Als normaler Brief gesendet, wird der Adressat sicher wahrnehmen, dass der Inhalt wichtig ist und mit Bedacht versendet wurde. In modern times ist das sicher etwas, das sehr positiv und traditionell ist und das hat auch heute noch seine Berechtigung. Mit so einem Auftritt vermittelt man, dass man sich Zeit genommen und nachgedacht hat.

Elegante Umschläge mit Herz-Sticker
Man bekommt gleich 30 Stück plus 30 richtig schöne, geprägte Herz-Sticker in Gold. Das Papier ist stabil und fühlt sich hochwertig an, da reißt so schnell nix. Man kann die Umschläge für Einladungen, kleine Geschenke, Glückwünsche oder auch mal für einen Liebesbrief nutzen. Die habe ich bis jetzt für Geld-Geschenke und Glückwünsche benutzt und kam echt gut an. Die Größe passt super für Karten oder Briefe, und man kann sie entweder klassisch mit Kleber oder stylisch mit den Stickern verschließen. Besonders hübsch finde ich den goldenen Rand – sieht total elegant aus. Schreiben lässt sich auch gut drauf, ohne dass die Tinte durchdrückt. Würde aber wie immer eher Kulis empfehlen.

Excess gold and strange size
These are nice thick envelopes and the gold border looks nice on the back, but it goes up too high so that once the flap is folded over gold is visible on the front. This cannot be deliberate as differing amounts of gold appear on each one. The matt gold finish seals are fine but are a very different shade of gold to the envelope borders. The written description says they measure “20 x 10.5cm /9.45 x 4.13 Inch”, but one of the images says they are “24cm/9.45in” by “10.5cm/4.13in – the latter measurements are correct. This makes them 2cm wider than normal DL envelopes, but admittedly 20cm would have been worse as A4 would not have fit width wise. I have shown them next to DL envelopes and a piece of yellow A4 paper for comparison. This makes them a very strange size to use for anything, but if the size doesn’t bother you these are fine.
