Great buffer set
Although these are a little expensive my son really liked these, so it still gets a 5 star rating. I though a set of 6 was excessive (for some reason I did not see the set of 4 buffers), he wanted them all used, even if the track became useless. He just loved 'bumping' the trains on them. I guess as he ages He'll be happy use one or two in a real layout. These work well with other good quality track such as Brio/Thomas etc.

If you have a son who loves all things trains and building wooden train tracks, then this is a must have! My son was asking me for these for such a long time! He loves them!

A little cheap looking.
I got theses for my sons Thomas track. I figured they couldn't be that much different. They do their job but they aren't the same quality as the Thomas wooden track. After I got these pieces I said that I would just buy Thomas stuff - like bigger pieces of track etc. For what they are and the price paid I'm happy with them. They just aren't as nice as the other brand.

My boys have been bugging me for years about “buffers”. I was always hesitant to buy something other than licensed Thomas wooden railway pieces because they never fit. These fit PERFECTLY!!! And I am officially the best mom ever today. 5 star rating 100%

Good add on's for a train fan
Fits perfectly with my son's other train tracks. We have Thomas, Brio, and off brands all together. I love that it came with both male and female pieces. Good deal. Fast shipping. Can't find these in our local stores, so I was pleased.

Buffers
My grandson was so excited to receive these. He told me several times how much he wanted them. The buffers are very sturdy and are a great addition to any wooden train set.

economy grade good value
It has enough detail and function to be a buffer, and I got what I needed and my money's worth. The item picture only shows the best side. The Maxium brand buffers are more expensive because they have paint on both sides and a slant to the back side and the sharp corners are blunted. These bufferes are also packaged on a misleading box the size of an engine and it has pictures of a train layout on it. On Christmas morning my 4 year old was disappointed when he opened it because he expected more.
