Improve the Instructions!!!
Amending my review where I previously advised against purchasing this. Don't get me wrong, the instructions are still absolutely horrible. Bought this for our 4 yo for his birthday, so we opened and built the crane right away. 100% non-functional. Toy winch wouldn't actually turn to raise and lower the hook, string wouldn't stay on any of the wheels, screws stripped out, crane tipped over when he tried to rotate it because the way the model is constructed is awful. However, we threw the useless instructions away and our 4 yo has played with it almost non-stop since then, just building whatever his imagination dictates. There are a ton of colorful, interesting, and unique components in this set, and just figuring out how he can put them together and how they interact with each other has kept him coming back to it almost daily for the past few weeks. This alone is reason enough to recommend it to others.

Instruction are terrible
Got this for our 4 year old for Christmas. The instructions are terrible. There is no way a kid can figure out how to build this. There are no step by step instructions anywhere to be found. Waste of $90.

Perfect for busy boys!
I bought two different sets for my grandsons who are between 2 and 8 years old. The little ones loved tapping with the hammer, while the older one built a super plane. Great value and a lot of fun. Lovely to see all the ages playing together.
