Overall the hat is very good quality. The hat is made from a thicker felt material and is heftier than those cheap party hats you can get from any party store. The attachments seemed to be pinned into the hat itself, rather than glued, making them feel very secure. The two chains on the size can probably be reduced as they get tangled quite easy, but they can be cinched behind the wings on the side to make them smaller. Only issue with the hat was the sizing. I have a size 21 head and I bought the size 22 listed, but it was so tight that it was unwearable. Make sure to buy a size bigger just in case. Would have just replaced it with the larger size if I had time, but it wouldn't have gotten here in time. Perfect for the steampunk genre!
