Decent value track
I ordered several boxes of these, and one of the tracks had some splintering at one end, nothing a little sandpaper couldn't fix. The tracks seem sturdy and reasonably well made, though they are of a lighter colored wood than our Melissa & Doug and other tracks we have. The male side is a tad thicker than our other tracks, and the female side a bit larger. Other tracks still fit fine with these, but there is a lot more wiggle room when on the female end of this track, and hardly any wiggle on the male end. Since the track is a non-standard length (just about all track I've seen comes in 1" or 2" increments and this is 8.5" long), track layout may be a bit tricky if you are not careful to use two of these in the same stretch or make sure the sections offset each other on opposite sides of a layout. Also, they are slightly too wide to fit into the Melissa and Doug raised track supports.
