Superstar gift for a 3 year old obsessed with excavators and sandboxes
I had my eye on this toy for my son for over a year. When it came time for his 3rd birthday, the right time arrived. I ordered the package with the vest and hard hat and the standard, no wheels excavator. It was a little difficult to put together, and the instructions could be clearer, but between other reviews and the Internet, I managed to assemble it. My son was in love. A few things to consider: 1. I consider this to be appropriate for my 3 year old son, assuming adult supervision. If he tried to lift it or move it on his own, he could accidentally pinch his fingers if he did it the wrong way. 2. Is not very heavy and the size is perfect for any 3 year old. I’m not sure how big a kid can be to use it (probably in the product description) but given the price and quality, I would be happy even if he could only use it until the age of 4 or 5. 3. As long as you don’t drop it on or bump into something that can scratch a well painted surface, this thing is very durable. 4. You’ll need a sandbox or a pile of dirt or mulch!

We got this sand digger for my nephew’s birthday, and it's officially his favorite toy now. From the moment it was unwrapped, he was digging up every patch of sand he could find with pure joy. There was a dent when it arrived, but Amazon handled it quickly and professionally, kudos for solid customer service. The digger itself is sturdy and easy for kids to operate. It’s held up well under some enthusiastic play, and watching my nephew pretend he's working on a construction site is pure gold. A total hit at the birthday party and beyond! I would take one star off for the initial dent, but CS rectified it and I am overall very happy with the purchase!

Great toy for the sandbox, beach, etc
My son loves this for his sandbox. This was the perfect addition and extends his playtime. At first glance the material isn't the sturdiest but gets the job done. Would recommend spraying the movable parts down with WD-40 or silicone spray from season to season.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely awesome ????. I purchased this for a coworkers grandson and he loved it. The hat and the vest are perfect as well. It is a definite buy for kids who love to dig in the sand and dirt ????! Easy to assemble
