This was challenging
I absolutely love this mind game puzzle! It’s both challenging and engaging, keeping me entertained for hours. The design is clever, with intricate pieces that fit together perfectly, and the quality is outstanding. Each level of the puzzle offers a unique challenge, making it fun to solve progressively. I’ve found it to be a great way to unwind and exercise my brain at the same time. It’s perfect for both solo play and group challenges. If you enjoy puzzles that make you think outside the box, I highly recommend this one! It’s a fantastic addition to my collection.

great little puzzle, interesting to solve
Nice design, as always, solid, heavy cast puzzle from Hanayama. Challenging, fun, frustrating, amusing. Makes a great fidget. Family vacation tested ages 9 - 80. Some solved, some didn't. Especially interesting how challenging it can be to get back together, even after having done it. (I think once mastered, it will remain relatively easy, but time will tell.) ____ Update: Once truly mastered, easy to take apart and put back together quickly. Admittedly found helpful videos online, wanting to be able to put it back together quickly so more children can use it. [Would be VERY hard to put back together, I think, if you had never taken it apart.] A number of students have now taken it apart. Many more have not, YET. Not sure if any have fully put it back together, yet. [Definitely harder to put back together than take apart. Can get it apart without realizing what was done. Typically is 1st time.] Puzzle is starting to show some wear in the finish. Does not at all impact puzzle movment nor solution. One of my favorites.

I've made a terrible mistake...
...because I'm going to be spending a lot of money on Hanayama puzzles. This puzzle is brilliant. This is the first Hanayama puzzle I've attempted (it arrived yesterday along with Labyrinth and Quartet which I will review separately once they are solved). This is a very logical puzzle, and yet it's hard to see the logic until you've solved it, which is something I like in a puzzle. I took it apart in probably about 30 minutes, but then it took me at least that long to put it back together again. The second time was quicker, but I didn't fully understand it until the third time. Now, once you've really solved it and understand how it works, it's very simple to take apart and put back together, so at that point there's really no replayability in terms of solving it again. However, it's a very attractive piece and it makes a great desk decoration/fidget toy. It's quite hefty and feels good in the hand and the motion required to disassemble and reassemble is very satisfying. As a fidgety person, I am extremely pleased with this piece and I expect it will still get lots of use even though I've solved it.

Difficult but well made
My 13 year old grandson is usually a whiz with brain teasers but this was difficult for him. Well made though.

Fun away from Phones!
Purchase several different pocket puzzles for sons and nephews aged 13-19. These were all a hit. This puzzle has a nice weight, metal, durable, and keeps the teens occupied and focused on solving. This particular puzzle seemed to have a difficulty level perfect for the older teens. As with the other puzzles this is a handheld sized puzzle, easy to carry around. Great as a gift.

Challenging but fun
We took the puzzle apart in 15 minutes, putting it back together is another challenge. Really love that it gives us a break from screen time and brings everyone together to come up with a solution. Great value

Hours of Engagement
I bought this for my father-in-law on Christmas and he’s known to be pretty quick with solving puzzles like these. This one had him invested and engaged immediately once he opened his present. It fits perfectly in his hands and even he admitted it was rather challenging once he got to the last level of opening it. His next challenge will be putting it back together. Happy solving!

Still haven’t solved
These puzzles are great. This one has thrown me for a loop and I can’t figure it out. Not giving up but if you want a challenge this one might be it. Recommend these to any family member that likes a challenge.

I love these type of puzzles. I own several Hanayama Puzzles, and they have never been disappointing. Always High Quality, Beautifully Designed, Wonderfully Polished, and Hyperbolically reviewed. I can't wait to order another one...

Quite challenging to solve and remake: Good fidget puzzle
This is a beautifully constructed puzzle, it's solid metal with a decent weight to it. Even if you can't solve it, the spinning pieces feel good to manipulate. As for the challenge, it's quite tough given you cannot ever physically see how the puzzle is being solved. There's a lot of feel work involved as you rotate it around like you would cracking into a safe. Definitely challenging putting it back together as well, as the solution can come quite rapidly, leaving you a bit stumped over the correct order. Great puzzle. Looking forward to checking out more!

Finally!
Finally solved it! Took me a few hours spread over many many days.....solved it.....and reassembled it as well. Well spent money.
