Sturdier-Built; Earings Are Removable, Beautiful Makeup, and Yarn Hair!!!
I love my Brooklyn doll! She is better quality than the very first Dream Besties line (the first 4 dolls made - which I loved btw!!). I felt that the very first line kind of felt like lightweight cheap hollow plastic. This doll's limbs feel much sturdier and better quality. The way the arms move feels different than any other doll I have, including Barbies, Disney's ily 4ever, Rainbow High, Bratz, and LOL Surprise. It is like the shoulder joints allow for smooth movement of the arms plus a strong hold to keep the arm in the exact position you want it to be in. Her earrings are removable, as is her shirt, skirt, and shoes. The skirt is sparkly/shimmery and the shoes are cute pink high heel loafers with a "B"Barbie logo as the buckle! I love how they are easy to put on and stay on her feet. Her hair reminds me of a yarn doll's hair, because it appears to be yarn, which is different for a doll of this size to use. At first I wondered if I was disappointed it wasn't actually braided like with previous Brooklyn Barbie dolls, but now I love her so much, she is my favorite doll right now!!! Her eye makeup, freckles, and lip color are so perfect too!!!
