Flawed
The quality is not bad at all. The detail on this is actually really good but the problem lies when assembling it. I don’t know if the pegs are too short and the two figures weigh too much that they won’t lay flat, but the point is these figures just won’t stay attached to the base. Any slight movement makes them fall off and the worst part is that Shanks’ hand won’t even attach to the top of the straw hat. I gave up trying to set this up since whenever I would finally get his hand on the straw hat both of the figures would topple over. If I got them to stand, the hand would separate. It would just not set up like it was meant to. The supports it comes with don’t even help and in my case made it worse as they just added more weight to the figures. I had other figures from this line on pre-order and I’ve already canceled them. The single character WCF trading figures are better quality and sturdier than this one. I really, really wanted to like these as they are all memorable scenes in the story. I feel like getting these is a gamble. The reason I rated this so low is because even if the quality is good I can’t even display it. They stayed upright long enough to take the first pictures and then topped over as soon as I took the one of the feet.
