One of the best to date.
It's in the description. This has to be one of the best Master Grades that Bandai has put out (and they're only getting better). For starters, the articulation vs. how sturdy the parts are, it just goes to show how far the engineering for these things have come. The poses rival that of any Perfect Grade but the parts and construction that go into achieving these feats are only challenging enough that anyone can still appreciate this kit, whether it's their first build or their hundredth. The attention to detail on the inner frame is top notch as always and blends well with the armor parts that go over them. The color scheme works nicely with the overall design (especially being a descendant to the ever iconic RX-78 Gundam). Unfortunately, everything has a dark side. Although there are many other pro's to this kit (that I haven't mentioned) there ARE however a few con's. If you are familiar with the latest of the Endless Waltz kits and the like, then you probably know where this is gonna go and it all starts with one word: Hands. Bandai still went with the interchangeable fixed position fingers, although they did give the thumbs more articulation like that of a Perfect Grade. Cumbersome and inconvenient (because you either have to keep them somewhere safe like in a plastic baggy or in the box) the fingers provide you a moderate amount of grip with the weapons, but of course with the lightest touch or the slightest twist, you guessed it, everything comes falling apart.The only thing that really saves the rifle from falling out is the fact that it is attached to the forearm via peg and poly-cap. The shield is the same way but since it is never in hand, it's not too much of an issue. The beam sabers fit snug into the fingers and don't really weigh them down too much, so the chances of them falling out is least likely. I just wish, Bandai would go a different route with the hands. But with future Master Grade releases, I am hopeful. So overall, a good, well rounded kit for either a seasoned Gunpla builder or a n00b. Good engineering and poseability and overall design. But needs better hands.

This was a good buy unfortunately the only thing that let's it down is the small bits that go on the head I recommend glue...or you land up losing them and have a very upset child...

好きなガンダム
アニメは未視聴です。 HGが出た時に見た目が気に入って購入。それ以来AGE1が大好きになりMG化を待ってました。 先日ようやく購入しさっそく組み立て。塗装などせず素組みでガシガシ遊ぶ派なので時間を忘れ一日中遊んでました。 最近のMGは作ってなかったので顔のへの字部分が空洞になっていて墨入れしなくても色分けされているのには驚きました。HGには無かった適度なモールドもありAGE1のダサカッコよさは残しつつより洗練された渋さも加わり兵器感も増しました。可動、接地性も良好で肩に至ってはかなり引き出すことが出来るのでポージングにも熱が入ります(^ ^) 内部フレームの簡略化は組み立て易さも向上し好印象。コックピットのアクションは普段はそれを気にも留めない自分でもついつい開きたくなる、本商品の小さな目玉ギミックかなと感動しました。アクションベースに頼りがちなMGが多い中それが無くても派手なポーズをつけて飾っていられるのも高評価なんですが、こうポージングのしがいがあるとやっぱりアクションベース欲しくなる。買お( ◠‿◠ ) AGE1が好きな方、ガシガシ遊べてしかもヘタらないMGが欲しい方、オススメです!!

A great kit with unlimited poseability potential.
I have only purchased one Age Gundam kit, this being the most appealing to me I bought it with minimal expectations. Well, it surpassed that and has become one of my favorite kits to build. I think with paint and panel lining this is one beautiful kit. I do not like kits with huge shoulder and weapon kits mounted everywhere. I prefer kits that have action figure quality poseability. This kit has all of that. I wish more people understood the relaxing quality of building your own model kit. This kit is perfect for the beginner, there are not a bunch of bells and whistles and it is great just the way it is.
