I was very disappointed when the flow of Monster High dolls had suddenly stopped a few years back in India. After that massive launch of these 'gothic dolls' initially through theirs heavy promotions, creating a refreshing buzz and a promising breakthrough by introducing these fierce "monster dolls", many alike me, began to question those regular sweet and delicate, boring looking, yet highly priced dolled up stereotypes! I remember visiting the Hamleys toy store every now and then to pick up a MH doll or atleast glance through childlessly at all the plenty fiery variations being together stacked! And when they became available on Amazon, I felt the doors to my Goth Culture Acceptance open wide right across the windows of my mobile phone and laptop! But then, out of the blue, for whatsoever reasons, these darkly accessorized outworldly beings disappeared perhaps due to orthodoxy birthed by societal fear and cultural rejections I guess. And in that sad absence, for quite some time, a few popped up on Amazon being sold at ridiculous prices enough to be compared with the selling rates of expensive cell phones and gadgets which I felt was like a teasing let down. This model of Frankiestein was one of them which then remained in my wishlist like some far off dream job. And today, she's finally here, right in my arms, like an ordinary-easily-achievable Mattel doll, for which I am in relief but rather stoked in awe ???? . What I mostly love about Mr. Frankenstein's daughter, are her's heterochromiac two coloured eyes. And for being experimentaly brought back to life, as per hers underlying infamous storyline, it reminds me, though very sensibly, of those major second chances that are thrown at us in our's miniscule lives. Visually, this striking "neo-age metallica entity" further reminds me, of a modern version of The Goddess of Musical Crafts, with her's headphones on grasping to her's 'communicative weapon' of performing electronic Arts ???? . What I dislike, is that awful later-added-on, manufacturer/distributor/retailer sticker on the display box which massively coverups that beautiful Magical backside artwork of all these imported dolls. This truly is an absolute turn off. Now, please tell me, whatever happened to those beautiful and gorgeous Ever After High's and Disney Descendant Dolls ???? !? Thankyou, Amazon.
