Unstable, but pretty
These pines are very pretty. The snow effect looks good, and I like that all three are different sizes. I agree with other reviewers though that the trees cannot stand on their own. Their bases are way too small. That's an oversight that's easily fixed, if the manufacturer is reading this... In the meantime, it's also easily fixable at home as well. I wouldn't drop more than one star for that. I made wider bases for the trees out of cardboard and tape. They stand up just fine now. The stand gets covered up with the fake snow fluff anyway so you can't tell it's there when the trees are in the scene.

Very realistic
I purchased the 4", 6" & 10" sets. They're great! I have to agree with H. McCloskey though, "They need a wider base to be stable." I'm not sure that these are intended to stand on their existing bases or it is just part of the packing material/boxing. The trunks are too long proportionately to the rest of the tree. I took wire cutters & whacked off the bases & part of the trunks. I molded white polymer clay bases & forced the "trunks" into the raw clay. After filling the holes with white glue (can I say, "Elmer's"?), I set the trees into the clay. I then baked them in a 210 degree CONVECTION oven for 20-25 minutes. The trees did fine! I now have stable bases on all of my trees! YES!

They are just right for my Christmas Polar Express scenery...I put Velcro on the base of each tree...Works great...
