Fine substitue for the full section track
Be aware that these are "half" section tracks - it will take 24 of these tracks to make a full circle, not 12 tracks as you might expect. In each package, there are 6 pieces of track that together make up one-quarter of a turn - for a full circle you will need four of these packages, which is 24 track pieces. 12.5" radius track is the "outer curve" that matches the 11.25" radius supplied with most Bachmann starter trains sets and track sets. Normally it takes 12 "full" tracks sections (of 30 degrees each) to make a full circle, but for some reason the "full" sections are just not currently available. Bachmann's own site seems to be always "out of stock", and I can't locate any at present. However, these "half" sections seem to be readily available, and work just as well, of course. It may take a little more work, and be a little more expensive to use four sets of 6 "half" sections than two sets of 6 "full" sections, but if you need them now, these "half" section tracks certainly fit the bill.
