Truck attachment screws sub standard
Designed mainly for Bachman rolling stock. The truck attachment screws are sub standard. They are short. I had to replace these screws with 2-56 x 3/16 Philips flat machine screws.

N scale train couplers and trucks
As good or better than Micro train couplers when used with metal wheels. These also have an exterior spring on the couplers it'self. The inner spring mechanism are sturdy plastic side wings which are part of the coupler. All one piece instead of double parts with the infamous spring. Also customer service at Bachman is good. Would not say great but good none the less. Customer service at Micro Train was non-existent at least for me. I also use these with other similar couplers and they are very compatible with most. When these trucks are used with good metal wheels they will free roll on the slightest of angles. This allows you to pull more cars and navigate tighter radiuses.

Must Have
When I started doing older style trains I found most of the cars I wanted were no longer in production. I could buy old used cars from a number of sources but most of them had the wrong hitches and alot of ware on the trucks even if the bodies were ok. Get these new trucks with late style hitches and make and old new again. Also makes for a good price and works on 90 plus percent of old cars.

Good replacement
They appear to work well and are a good replacement for worn out trucks.

EZ mate trucks and couplers
When i installed the bachmann EZ mate couplers and trucks on my freight cars. The coupler trip pin on the coupler are very loose causing them to point backwards or just moving around. Engineered coupler not great the trip pin works as part of the shaft to hold hinge pin and knuckle coupler together if you pull the trip pin out of the coupler the coupler will fall apart not a great design. I have a couple of passenger cars that are bachmann and a bachmann steam engine locomotive i love them. For the rest of atlas N-Scale cars i have replaced all my trucks and couplers with micro train trucks and couplers they are more money but i find them to the best on the market that's my opinion.
