My favorite therapy toy for 1-5 year olds.
I am a pediatric occupational therapist and this is one of my favorite toys. I didn't even realize he lit up and made sounds, the kids absolutely love him. I also have the lady bug peg toy, which is also another winner. Good value for the money. Great quality, I love the thickness of the pegs. Compared to the hedgehog, which my children chewed open as the pegs are thin and hollow.. These pegs will hold up well. Great educational value, use it for colors, counting, crossing midline, hand strength, fine motor coordination plus it's super cute so I love it aesthetically as an adult.

Perfect toy
This toy lives up to the recommendations. Gave it to a 1 year old for her birthday and she loved holding and chewing on the pegs. Then she played the game of pulling out the pegs while mom put the pegs back in. Later she will put the pegs in the holes. Then she can practice colors “hand me the green peg” and later maybe even learn the numbers on each peg 1-10. The shell is tricky to get on and could be more sturdy. For the money it is really great. Very very glad I bought this. I will keep in mind for future 1 year olds in my life.

Cute learning turtle!
Purchased this toy for my two year old son and he loves it! I love the color scheme and that it lights up. However, you do have to push a little harder then expected for it to light up. I also like that there is storage for the pegs inside the toy. Highly recommend this little learning turtle!

Fun, self contained, not too noisy
For a toy that makes sounds and lights up this is an option parents won’t mind receiving for their kids. The pegs are easily stored in the shell, are perfect for little hands, and are numbered for early numeracy skill development. The sounds are short and on the quiet side, as are the light features. Well made and developmentally appropriate for play and learning.

Great toy for the price!
My husband and I bought this toy for our foster child. Great quality, love the colors, it lights up, and makes cute/fun sounds. A must buy, you won't be disappointed.

I wished it was made better!
Honestly I really wanted to like this toy but there are a lot of flaws. It's very cheaply made and the shell comes of so easily. It's not easy to press to make it light up in certain areas. The pegs don't click in like I thought they would do to the pictures so they just kind of float there. The idea is there it's just not a very well made toy.
