Fun
This is a unique racing car toy. It is much smaller than a HotWheels or Matchbox car but it has some sort of a tiny motor inside. You place it in a provided launcher (2 AAA's required but not provided), then "charge" up the car and launch! The car has 2 electrical contacts on the back bumper so there is definitely some type of electric motor and battery/capacitor inside. It can run for 30 seconds or more on a hard surface. You may want to use some kind of track if you have one for another car race set. If you just race them on the floor, they are so fast and so small that getting lost is a real possibility. The brand sells tracks as accessories. That and at least one other car are my recommendations. It's a 4-star product, but so inexpensive that it can be a stocking stuffer. Looked at that way, I think it's 5 stars.

Eh... the box looks cooler than the toy actually is. Still provides some entertainment value though.
This is an example of a toy where the packaging is far more impressive than the product inside. Photos from the listing sort of mask how the car is shockingly small. It's only maybe an inch and a half long at best. The promised "600 mph+" scale speed is weird too. That's supersonic speeds and I get it's "to scale", but it really doesn't go that fast regardless of how long you hold the button down. The charging mechanism is a clever concept. Metal contacts on the car's rear connect to pins on the launcher, and holding the button down spins the wheels faster and faster until they reach max speed. You then pull the trigger to launch the car. Unfortunately, there is another odd design choice when it comes to launching the car. The trigger is at the bottom of the launcher, which means you can't charge the car while it's sitting on a flat surface. Doing so immediately launches the car. This is an awkward design choice, especially since a top-mounted release button would have made it compatible with a track system. The car's tiny size is another negative, as it makes it incredibly easy for kids to lose. I will say that the plastic feels sturdy and the car itself is well-made for its size. Maybe this would have been better if it came with some sort of raised track to allow it to look around on. For now, it's just something that gets lost under the couch way too easily. At around $10, it's a reasonable price for a name-brand toy, but it's not something I would buy again.

Tiny Turbo Fun: Big Excitement in a Small Package
My experience with the Hyper Burst Battle Racers Purple Storm Car & Launcher has been fantastic, especially from the perspective of my kid who absolutely loves it. The launcher delivers thrilling speed and action, living up to its claim of over 600+ MPH scale speed in miniature racing fun. The battle action adds an exciting competitive element that keeps playtime engaging and energetic. Heh! It's super fun! However, the cars themselves are quite tiny—smaller than a quarter—which is something to keep in mind. Their small size makes them easy to lose, especially for younger children or in cluttered play spaces. That said, the compact size allows for races on all kinds of surfaces and makes the launcher portable for on-the-go play. Overall, it’s a high-energy, entertaining toy that delivers big thrills despite the small size of the cars. Perfect for kids who love fast-paced racing and battling action in a micro scale. Recommended!

Fun car for kids
I got this car as a toy for my daughter, they are so small, pretty cool system but I don't have a track to use them on, thinking about getting one for her soon! I included my thumb in the image so you have an idea of the size/scale.

Not Worth the Hype. Too Small, Too Pricey, and Too Finicky.
Unfortunately, this toy didn’t live up to expectations. Yes, it technically goes fast, but the car is so tiny that it constantly ends up lost under furniture, the fridge, or any tight space it can zip into. It’s honestly more frustrating than fun trying to retrieve it every few minutes. It also really struggles on anything other than a perfectly smooth surface. If you have tile floors with grout lines or even the tiniest bit of crumbs or pet hair, the car either slows down or just stops entirely. Definitely not ideal for a household with kids and real-world messes. For something this small and limited, I think it’s overpriced. It comes with just one launcher and one car, and batteries aren’t even included. The “battle” aspect sounds cool in theory, but in practice, it’s not very engaging when the car keeps getting stuck or disappearing under the couch. Might be a fun novelty on a clean, flat table, but for us, it was more hassle than fun. We were disappointed overall and we wouldn't recommend it.

SUPER lame!
Nope. Avoid this thing, it’s cheap junk. Way overpriced at even a dollar. My kids were so excited and were fighting over which one got to try it first. Charged it up, pulled the trigger, and it was like watching old lady across the street. We reread the manual tried holding the charge button longer to give it extra boost. It just never went fast and it never lasted very long. It could only ever go about 2 feet then died. We tried a different set of batteries. There’s a yellow button on the side of the controller that the manual doesn’t even describe, with the numbers one through five. We tried all settings and nothing seemed to make a difference. Both kids walked away bored with neither wanting the car.
