Vorteks very fast and turn happy. 2S 100% power sweet spot. 3S 100% is nuts.
I own two Quakes, two Fury’s and now two Vorteks. I have both brushed and brushless versions of the Fury & Vorteks. If you want max value the brushed versions with Nimh battery and S20 charger is great all in one package. The downside is the speed is limited to about 25mph. The Nimh is a safer to charge and store battery better for youth. The brushless Vorteks/Fury are faster using the same 2S battery. 75% speed on brushless is about 100% on brushed. But put the brushless at 100% and it’s a good jump faster. Now drop in a 3S battery only on the brushless model and your speeds are crazy fast approaching 60mph. This Vorteks is great especially at 2S power as you can really hammer down the power and it is pretty good at staying planted due to the low center of gravity. The Fury has a longer wheel base so makes it easier to put the power down without spinning out and more stable at speed. The Quake is amazing and best all rounder with the plush suspension and big tires. It floats over grass and off road driving MUCH better which for me makes it far more usable. Keep in mind heavy pavement use really wears the tires out so consider buying a road set right away to preserve your knobby tires for dirt.

Riot in a box, this truck is F U N!
The media could not be loaded. This Arrma Vorteks 2wd is my first entry back into RC cars in more than 20 years.(Kyosho Ultima II) was the last car I had which is awesome in its own right. The Vorteks is 100% capeable right out of the box. The controller seems pretty good IMHO. I'd suggest getting a secondary set of rear wheels meant for street if you intend to rip around the pavment, as some serious spin outs and drifts will chew those treads in short order especially @ 100 throttle 3s. I have had good luck with the 2s zeee 5200 battery's to learn the car. Then stuff a CHNL 6200 3s in and ditching the tray for Long zip ties for 50mph street carnage. My rear tires are semi slicks now and way better on the payment but squirrely as can be on the dirt and grass. Again 2 sets of rear tires for intended terrain makes this way more versatile. JUMP, TUMBLE, CARTWHEEL, AND ZOOM AGAIN! Darn tuff, stellar car. Certainly gives me the RC bug again.

It's really fast and fun and it seems like it'd be really really good because of the suspension and everything about it. However 10 minutes after using it I was about 15 ft away from it it lost connection with the controler for some reason and full throttled into my neighbor's car. First time that I full throttled it down my street and I was in 50% mode. It's a good thing it just hit their tire on the front. But I'm trying to troubleshoot following the instructions having Gemini helping me because the initial binding process doesn't work. I'm currently just sitting here not being able to use it because it's going into low voltage mode. But it's a brand new 3s battery that I purchased from you guys. It was also fully charged so I don't know what's going on. This is my first rc car since I was a little kid and I was super ecstatic and I'm still super ecstatic about it and I'm definitely going to get into it and make it a new hobby for a while. However this is been a pretty big bump in the road.

Awesome car put on 75% and it has controlled wheelies for 10 feet or so I'm 70 and have Lots of fun with it get 1 4 yourself ????????????✌️????????????‍????
