The enjoyment for this far exceeds the price you pay
This car absolutely rips. Runs really well and is a great pirce. I have already spnt countless hours playing with this as well as my son. For the price of what ypu pay you cant get any better in my opinion. With the battery that is included is has about 20-25mins of run time. Looking for something to withstand hard play this is what your looking for.

So good!
The Grom series is great. Extra great in 223s brushless. Fast, tough, and so much fun. Get some!

Super fun buggy!!
Wonderful rc car!! Super fast and durable. Love the buggy design. With a couple simple upgrades these are some of the best rigs around. Highly recommend. Also grab an afgrc b13dlm or dls servo while you’re at it to make it bulletproof. IMO the only thing it needs is a better servo. The rest can be upgraded if you end up breaking anything for super cheap. Buy a Front Shock tower brace asap cuz if that breaks you’ll need to replace the whole chassis. If you’re doing hard bashing the granite or Mojave might be better. The wheels on a buggy stick out and are vulnerable compared to a sct design. Also it’s got a very small bumper front and rear so most people use a granite bumper to protect the shocks and arms etc..

Need another Grom.
Typhoon great. Fast. Durable. Goes everywhere because it fits in a backpack. I drive with some friends at lunch. And after work.

Arrma Typhon Grom 223S BLX: Late-30s First-Timer Goes Full Send (and Reinforces the Weak Spots)
I picked up the Arrma Typhon Grom 223S BLX as my first serious RC car to tinker with, and it's been a blast so far. Even on the stock 2S packs, it absolutely rips, 3S feels unnecessary for me. The included 1400mAh battery gives me about 5–10 minutes of full-throttle chaos, so I grabbed two extra 2200mAh packs to stretch run times. The front shock tower is a known weak spot, lots of folks report cracked chassis from hard driving. To avoid swapping major parts, I installed an aluminum reinforcement plate up front. Install was straightforward, and I've been sending it harder ever since with zero issues. Next on the list: full aluminum suspension arms (front and rear) and some pavement-gripping tires, since I mostly bash on asphalt and shred the stock rubber. Truth be told, I was hesitant at first, late 30s, no RC buddies my age, but I love electronics and modding. Turns out most YouTubers reviewing or upgrading this thing are in my demographic anyway, so screw it. Fun RC Racer
Just getting into RC Cars with my son and wanted to step up to next level of RC cars. Was mainly going for something that was faster and had the capability to be modified with readily available parts for fixing and tinkering. This is fulfilling those needs. Fun to play with and race around. Very versatile. Make sure you get some extra batteries.
