A little wonky, but overall a fun product.
We bought two sets for our kids with the hopes they would fall in love with the product. After an hour of play, I found myself alone at the dinner table trying to perfect our constructions. It is not that the product isn't fun, but to make it fully accurate takes a lot of practice. The concept of combining construction elements with a kid-friendly power drill to create mazes is undoubtedly captivating. The set includes 15 track pieces of varying lengths and shapes, enabling young minds to complete 10 different maze challenges. This hands-on approach encourages critical thinking as kids work their way through maze-making scenarios. The Design & Drill Marble Maze successfully introduces STEM learning to children aged 5 and above. It prompts kids to apply principles of science and engineering while solving maze challenges. This aspect of the toy undoubtedly contributes to enhancing their critical thinking skills and exploring new concepts in an engaging manner. A notable advantage of the toy lies in its potential to improve fine motor skills. The process of selecting and placing bolts or maze pieces, aiming the toy drill, and squeezing the trigger requires precision and control. These actions mirror the skills needed for tasks like tying shoelaces or holding a pencil, contributing positively to a child's fine motor development. Don’t use Amazon rechargeable batteries!
This is tons of fun for the kids. Wish the stand was a bit better designed. It would be nice if it screwed together instead of just notched together. After playing for awhile it doesn’t stand up so great anymore. The drill at first refused to work. Then we realized that it was the fault of Amazon’s rechargeable batteries that are just slightly to large in diameter. They were a very tight fit so the spring in the drill was not strong enough to push the battery into the cathode and make the connection. Swapped them for regular batteries and the drill works just fine.

4yr old loves it
Bought this as a gift for a family friend who as turning four. He loved it. He didn't initially quiet grasp the track making concept but was having an absolute blast stewing and unscrewing the bits. Fast-forward about 4 months and few playdates where my 7yr old gave him track.making lessons and those two are asking any grown up who will listen to buy them more so they can make a giant track down the play room wall. Thought provoking, cooperative, screen free play. Check, check, check! Money very well spent.

SO FUN
My 5 year old loves to build and loves marble runs. The problem, is that he usually is building with his two big brothers so he doesn't get to do his own designs often. This was an AMAZING gift to fix that! Not only can he design his own marble courses, but he gets to drill them in to build them AND there are also little challenge prompt cards that he can use to try and build a marble run that solves the challenge. He has been playing with it constantly since he opened it a few days ago. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Your preschooler’s opportunity to build
My 4 year old loves this! The drill is perfect to- he gets to learn “left from “right” when he wants to loosen or tighten the screws, as he builds his marble run. Easy to assembly. Quality pieces and vibrant colors. Perfect for little hands!

Not super functional
Was really excited to do this with the kids, mini version of things we’ve played with at museums. The drill is really weak (which I imagine is to protect the pieces from getting stripped) and fiddly to use. Some of the moving parts don’t seem to work either (namely the turnstile piece). The board is also pretty small compared to the number and style of pieces — it looks as if it’s designed to connect the boards but I can’t see any way to buy just extra boards. Disappointed overall.

Très sympa
Mon fils qui a des difficultés de motricité fine a beaucoup aimé ce jeu. On peut s'amuser à suivre les fiches ou bien à créer son propre circuit. J'enlève une étoile pour la qualité du plastique un peu léger au vu du prix de l'article assez cher.

「ハナヤマ ロジカルニュートン パズルゲーム ガリレオの鉄球」というパズルが大好きな小学1年生のためにプレゼントしました。こちらのパズルを卒業した後のプレゼントです。 元々、くみくみロープみたいな製品とか、レゴとかも大好きなので、こちらも好きだろうなあと思いましたが、案の定です。 こちらの製品は2つツボがあると思いました。 1.電動ドリルで、本格的に組み立てている感じがする。 2.実際にボールを落とすことで、試行錯誤しながら、チャレンジできる うちの子の場合は、最初は興味はあるけど、どうやって遊ぶのかわからないという感じでした。 試しに付属のドリルをいくつかやっているうちに何となく雰囲気が分かってきたみたいで、自分でもコースを作ってました。1週間ほど経ったら、ほぼドリルはそっちのけでオリジナルコースを作ってボールを転がすことだけに夢中です。 また一緒に遊べる時には、一緒に付属カードにもチャレンジしていければと思っています。 こうしたゲームを遊ばせてみると、子どもの特長はよくわかります。 こうした論理思考が試されるおもちゃは好きな一方で、注意力は足らないみたいで、たまに見比べてみると、パーツを止める位置が違っていたりして、あれれ、と思う場面も、それでも創造性があってよい! という考え方と、将来の受験では苦労しそう…という気持ちと半々です。

Great problem solving fun
I liked this, reminds me of the old toys I had when I was a kid. Ther is an element of problem-solving on this. The different parts simply screen and bolt onto the board and you can make your own track for the marble to run down. There is trial and error involved when , making your own or you can use some of the ideas on the cards that come in the pack. The game is well made, good quality, it is plastic but all the bits felt robust and durable. The parts were easily kept in the box. It is suitable for ages 7 onwards in my opinion. Kids had fin and was pleased to show me what they had made.
