Fun and Educational
My 4 yo daughter saw this and was so excited to try it. She has never played with play foam, more so bc I was nervous it was going to be super messy, but bc the foam beads stick together, it was so easy to use and clean. I also love the fact that it never dries out, and she can repurpose it over and over. As seen in the picture, while she was having fun with her new toy, little did she know she was working on her pincer grip with the squisher tool and also working on her dexterity when putting the foam beads in the correct compartments. She followed the picture for the most part and then decided she wanted to be creative and make certain parts rainbow. I loved that there was a template to follow, but also that you could still create something unique.

Fun and creative set that includes a tool to work on pincer grasp
My kids love playfoam and my oldest daughter who is 5 loves unicorns so she was so excited that I got this playfoam set for her! In general I love how kids can use their imagination to build anything they want with playfoam (and it never dries up!) and my kids play with their playfoam sets almost daily! This specific set is even more awesome because it comes with an unicorn canvas and squisher tool so my daughter was able to create her own unique canvas using the colors she wants. The squisher tool helps her to properly work on her pincer grasp which I’ve been working with her on the last few months because she still likes to hold her crayons/pencils with all of her fingers instead of just her index finger and thumb. This squisher tool is the perfect tool to have her practice holding it the right way. We will definitely be buying the other canvas sets since my daughter enjoyed this one so much! I think these are the perfect thing to pack for a road trip and/or plane ride so I’ll definitely be packing this on our next trip. These would also be cute party favors and stocking stuffers.

Cute and Fun
My daughters (ages 2 and 5) really enjoyed creating this unicorn with foam. I like how it doesn't get messy and the tool that it came with made it easier for them to be able to squeeze foam into the parts that were hard to get to. There was plenty of foam and even some left over for them to play with. It was a quick and engaging activity, and I also liked how it came with a stand so that she can put it on display around the house wherever she chooses.

Great for fine motor skills and so much fun!
I ordered this for my daughter because she’s into arts and crafts & this was recommended by a friend. My daughter is 5 years old and this was the perfect thing for her. It took a little time & was great for her fine motor skills. We’ve done it a couple of times and changed the colors each time to make the unicorn look different. We love that the playfoam never dries out! We will definitely be buying more of these and they make great gifts for birthday presents! They also go as great little decorations for the bedroom or playroom. We definitely recommend these. Great value for $!

Unicorn, glitter, and Playfoam!
The media could not be loaded. Unicorn, glitter, and Playfoam, what wouldn't a five year old not like about this combination? This kit was a super fun activity for my daughter to do independently. The kit comes with 5 different colors of Playfoam, a unicorn tray, and a plastic scoop tool that allowed her put the Playfoam into the little crevices where her life fingers didn't fit. As a mom, I love that Playfoam is easy to clean up and doesn't dry like other foams or dough. My kids love playing with them at restaurants, in the car, and as a fidgit. A winning product, in my book!

Endless Fun
My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this playfoam set! The color combinations are so fun for her, and her favorite part is using the squisher tool to make her design and keep the foam in place. She was so excited to create her own color scheme, and after finishing it once, she couldn't wait to do it all over again with a new design. She was so proud of her final product. We will definitely be bringing this set on the plane with us for an upcoming trip. This would make a great gift as well, especially as a set with other canvas themes!

Can't go wrong with unicorns!
As soon as my kids saw the packaging, their eyes got really big, and the 4-year old yelled, "Unicorn!" Unicorns, as you may have guessed, are her most favorite things in the world. The two of them immediately agreed to take turns filling in the canvas. The older one (6 years old) was adamant they follow the same color pattern as shown on the package. She's always been the rule follower. They both meticulously filled up every crevice using the squisher and their fingers, and within 30 minutes (give or take), they were done. Propped up by the display stand, they proudly placed it on our coffee table for the family to see. The cool thing about this is that they can remove all the playfoam and fill them in again. This way, the younger one can use her creative, non-rule following personality and "draw" in the unicorn to her liking. Endless fun for the kids and peace and quiet for the parents (in 30 minute increments) is a win for everyone!

Don't let the other colors touch each other
It would have been nice it there was a container or something that kept the colors separate. We took everything out of the packaging and had all the playfoam next to each other. It wasn't until we got to the part that was touching another color that we saw the colors blend - it was the worst with the white, which was now pink.

Muy divertido y bonito
Se trata de un pequeño juguete para que tu hijo pase unas horas entretenido. La presentación me gusta. Pese a que es un embalaje muy finito, es muy atractivo y protege adecuadamente el contenido interno. Básicamente, se trata de poner foam en un dibujo y rellenarlo al gusto, eligiendo los colores que queramos (dentro de los que vienen, claro). Hace un tiempo atrás que probamos un juguete de este estilo y es muy divertido y seguro. Y este juguete de Learning Resources del unicornio es muy similar. A mi hija le ha gustado un montón y, pese a que tiene 6 años, se lo ha pasado en grande. Y luego, una vez acabado, lo puedes usar para decorarle la habitación. La relación calidad-precio me ha parecido muy buena. Resumiendo... Un juguete sencillo que no le resta diversión en ningún momento. A mi hija le ha encantado y, por tanto, lo recomiendo.

Offert à ma fille de 5 ans, âge parfait pour ce jouet. La quantité de "mousse" est suffisante pour faire toute la licorne (ne soyez quand même pas trop généreux sur la couche de blanc), faite en 30min, le rendu est très sympa et les mousses restantes pourront servir pour des bricolages.

Bild kann immer wieder neu gestaltet werden / zum Aufstellen geeignet
Wir haben bereits mehrere Sets mit Playfoam-Knete, doch dieses hier hat unsere Kinder bislang am meisten begeistert. KNETE Die Knete besteht aus leichten Kügelchen, die gut aneinanderkleben. Auf der Haut oder an Gegenständen krallen sie sich zum Glück nicht fest. Abgefärbt haben sie bislang auch noch nicht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die verschiedenen Farben schlecht voneinander zu trennen sind, sobald sie mal miteinander in Berührung kamen. So bleiben die einzelnen Farben nicht lange einfarbig und vermischen sich immer mehr. FORM Bei diesem Einhorn ist die Gefahr des Vermischens nicht ganz so groß, da in der Einhorn-Form Trennwände eingebaut sind. Auch wenn auf der Packung 5+ steht, können bereits 3-jährige gut mit dieser Form umgehen. Voraussetzung ist natürlich, dass die Kinder nichts mehr in den Mund nehmen. Im Prinzip wird die Knete in die einzelnen Abteilungen der Form hineingepresst. Umso stärker gedrückt wird, desto besser kleben die Kügelchen zusammen und können dann später leichter wieder entnommen werden. Unsere 4-jährige Tochter liebt Bügelperlen und ähnlich meditativ ist auch das „Ausstopfen“ dieser Einhorn-Form. Mit dem Vorteil allerdings, dass ich nichts bügeln muss und dieselbe Knete immer wieder benutzt werden kann. KNETWERKZEUG Dem Set liegt ein kleiner schmaler Löffel bei, mit dem die Knete aus der Form herausgeholt werden kann. Das funktioniert recht gut, nur hier und da bleibt ein hartnäckiges Kügelchen in einem Eck der Form zurück. STÄNDER zum AUFSTELLEN Wer das Bild aufheben möchte, kann es auf den beiliegenden Ständer stecken und aufstellen. Da die Knete an der Luft nicht austrocknet, kann das Bild dann trotzdem zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder geleert und neu gefüllt werden. FAZIT Ein sehr attraktives Set, das allein schon aufgrund des Einhorns die meisten Mädchen begeistern wird. Die Farben tun ihr Übriges. Für Kinder, die auch gerne ausmalen oder Bügelperlen machen, ist dieses Einhorn sicherlich ein schönes Geschenk.
