Good looking and sort of low price but need upgrades.
I ordered this car from another brand initially that still has not been delivered and as a backup I got this Amewi Crosstrail. Looking at this AMXRock that is basically the same car as WL Toys 104010 under Amewi brand I realize this one is probably not worth the money compared to the chinese brother. What I like: The color and the paint. It's a darker red with metallic that I think looks amazing compared to the other cars I've seen. It's a great look overall, and the flip up body with magnetic holders in front work very well. The chassis is a TRX4 clone with engine just behind front axle and low in the frame. Battery centered with electronics on either side. Sturdy plastics, exactly the same as the Traxxas but without logos. Suspension travel is good and stock wheels only rarely touches arcs so there's plenty of room. Hobbywing ESC The box! Nice sturdy box with locks, a perfect fit for the stock car and accessories. Unless changing track width can easily be used as a transport box since it got handle on top. What I don't like: The engine is only a 540 with way too low internal gearing. The car is SLOW in high gear even for a crawler. My 1/12 MN99 can almost keep up. Speed control is bad, when slowing down car always comes to an abrupt halt no matter how careful you are. Makes it very prone to tipping over on decents if you try slowing down. Car stops increaing speed/torque at about 70% throttle, pulling the trigger more does nothing. The front portals extend far in from the wheel and basically negates the advantage of having them. Lights only work on/off, shifting patterns like instruction say does not work. Suspension springs are too heavy for the car, this seems to be a universal standard. It rests on top of the stroke. No sag, so hitting a hole tilts the car insted of extending the suspension. Differentials comes without grease in them. In comparison: The WL Toys 104010 comes with a stronger 550 motor and a 3000mAh battery pack included. It's also a lot cheaper than this Amewi. If you can wait for it, get the WL instead. Otherwise this is a decent and very good looking starter car, but aside from the usual heavier wheels and suspension upgrades it desperately needs a better engine and ESC.

Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale. Model całkiem dobrze wykonany , kompletne oświetlenie , napęd 4x4 wszytko sterowne z pilota , jednak mógł by mieć podzielone światła na sekcje , w oryginale włączają ją wszystkie na raz
